There can be over 100 different types of intestinal parasites living inside the human body at any time. They can be contracted through food, water and pets. Over 18% of all dogs have parasites. Over 85% of Americans have parasites as well.
Humans are the perfect host for these parasites. With the amount of compacted feces we carry around with us in our colon, we are the perfect living breeding ground. Over 500,000 million humans have pinworms, a common form of parasite.
Of all the people who are affected by parasites over 25% of them do not even know that they have them. The pain associated with them is so severe that they do not notice until the parasites have taken over.
Some signs of parasite infestation are drowsiness, anemia, diarrhea, and also constipation. 3200 varieties of parasites exist and they all attack the human body in their own way. Some eat through the organs leaving them looking like swiss cheese. Some lay so many eggs and reproduce so quickly that they cause the colon to clog and create bloating in the stomach.
There are different ways to get rid of the parasites. Western medicine and drugs kill off many of them, if you are into a more natural route you can use tinctures and herbs to help cure yourself.
Also easy things help prevent parasites. Washing all fruits and vegetables before you eat them. Washing your hands after using the restroom helps as well. Wearing shoes when you go outside, and keeping your house and its surroundings clean also help with reducing the parasites. Eating healthy and keeping a clean colon helps reduce their breeding grounds.
Unfortunately once you have contracted parasites once it is easy to catch them again. Preventative maintenance makes sure that they stay away for longer. Make sure that everyone in your household is treated for these. Always cook your meat all the way through, and (I can't stress this enough) WASH YOUR HANDS!!! By washing our hands after touching raw meat, eggs, or after using the restrooms stops not only the growth of the parasites but also many other diseases. Another good thing to keep around is antibacterial cleaner. When you do not have water use some of this, it is better than nothing.
Remember that there are various ways to relieve yourself of parasites. Natural medicine, Western medicine, and other remedies exist. Research them all and find what works for you.
