Does anyone wonder if there is life after death? Of course, some believe there is no life, others believe there is life, others believe in a specific type of life after death. I recently read Howard Storm's, "My Decent into Death". This book reveals a chilling story of an atheist who did not believe in God or in life after death. In short, Howard Storm experienced the afterlife most of us wonder about. His depiction of the environment he was in while clinacally dead for several minutes, along with the transparent persons and entity's he encountered is a true believers daydream of how angels and other angelic figures appear.

I have had several dreams of life after death. Oddly enough, even those of myself hovering over my body while it lays there lifeless. There are scientific reasoning's for the euphoric peacefulness some people who experience life after death share in their story. However, for so many people out there with the same basic theme, but it may be small details that make the difference in their stories is what makes life after death encounters so intriguing.

This weekend CNN's Chief Medical Correspondent Sanja Gupta is exposing some of these life after death stories. This CNN special is called "Another Day: Cheating Death".

This 2 day series will be airing this weekend on CNN, starting Saturday at 8 p.m. Dr. Gupta will be sharing the experiences of different individuals who were on the edge of death or clinically dead for several minutes and their reports of what they encountered during this time. Revealing cases that could be perceived as a medical miracle of a miracle from above. This should be a very remarkable report where the viewers can reflect on their own personal beliefs and experiences. I will be watching. Also, don't forget to check out Dr. Gupta's newly written book called "Cheating Death" just released in stores in 2009, which also includes a more indepth read into the topic of medical miracles.

In reading this article, this shows you have some interest in life after death, whether you are a believer or a non-believer up until this point. With the input in the series from a well known Neurosurgeon, which is familiar with how the brain reacts to different levels of stress on the body and the shared beliefs of those who have experience this life after death dream walk, it will enable the viewer open their mind to the possibilities in medicine and in spirituality.

EXISTENCE AFTER DEATH Our Ultimate Journey
There is no pain at the moment of death.

    Only peaceful silence. . . calm. . . quiet.

    But you still exist.

i would highly recommend this bok

I agree with Michael - lots of food for thought. Wish I had been able to watch the program on CNN. I'll have to check out the book instead.

I don't fear death. I don't look forward to it. And I rarely think about it. I guess I'll know it when I die.for now, I'm alive and I prefer to think about that. :)

I had a near-death experience when I was 17 after a car accident. It was very peaceful and happy. I came out of it knowing there was nothing to fear from death and I have never been afraid of it since.
