Current TV Shows That Should be Movies:Glee
This Fox musical comedy-drama stars Matthew Morrison as the director of the Glee Club at William McKinley High School in Ohio who contends with hostile cheerleaders and football players. Glee would work great on the big screen because it was initially planned to be a movie. I think it would be funny for the cast to perform at the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade given that rival network NBC wouldn't let them do so in real life.
Current TV Shows That Should be Movies:Supernatural
This paranormal TV program is now on The CW for its fifth and reportedly final season. Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles star as the Winchester brothers who hunt demons. I think Supernatural is even better than the X Files for being adapted into a movie because it's quirky without getting so complicated that you have to watch every episode to keep up. The actual story line would depend on whether there's a 6th season and that depends in part on whether the Winchesters save Earth from the Apocalypse.
Current TV Shows That Should be Movies:Nip/Tuck
This TV program on FX is ending on March 3 after 7 seasons of dissecting plastic surgery patients and practitioners. The cast features Dylan Walsh and Julian McMahon as the doctors who own the practice. It's ideal for being made into a movie because it always pushed the boundaries of what could be shown on TV. The early seasons were the best so they should abandon LA, head back to Florida, and do a Joan Rivers sequel.
Current TV Shows That Should be Movies:Big Love
This HBO drama is in its 4th season depicting a very extended Utah family. Bill Paxton plays a polygamist with three wives (Chloë Sevigny, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Ginnifer Goodwin). Big Love needs a big screen and feature length to reveal more about its complex family ties.
Current TV Shows That Should be Movies:True Blood
HBO's vampire series stars Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) as a human who loves vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer). A film treatment would showcase its campy looks and oversized cast.
These 5 TV shows should be movies because they would look great on the big screen.
