Inside the building they have a womens changing room, a men's changing room, and a family changing room. For a larger family like mine the family changing room is very convenient. We all stay together and my husband and I can keep an eye on all of our children. Each changing room is equipped with toilet facilities, showers, and lockers. It has a machine to wring out excess water after your swim.
Inside the pool area there are a number of lounge chairs. There is a relaxing sauna for adults and children over the age of 5. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult in the sauna. The pool itself is divided into a smaller, more shallow area for children. There are large flower shaped water sprinklers that spray down a continuous flow of water into the pool. A small grizzly bear slide allows for small children to enjoy. The depth of the children's swimming area is no more than 3 1/2 feet deep. Experienced swimmers can venture to the other side of the swimming pool. The depth of about 8 feet deep. Trained lifeguards are on duty at all times.
There are two big water slides for those over 4 ft tall and know how to swim. There is a hoop to play water ball in both the shallow and deep sides of the pool. Children can use water floaters and life vests in the pool. Life vests are provided by the facility. Currents also has floating mats in the shape of sea animals for kids to float on as well as "noodles". Currents supplies balls and diving rings for swimming entertainment. Currents has a party room for birthdays or any other kind of occasion. Currents offers swimming lessons, season passes, recreation swim, and lap swim.
