I received the free sample of the cereal in the mail a week later. The free sample came in an individual serving box, inside another box. The sample box was less then 1 cup. I tried the cereal in 1 cup of soy milk and the entire contents of my sample box. The cereal has the same texture as Kellogg's cornflakes. I liked the honey and nut flavor in the cereal. I found the cereal to be overly crunchy even after soaking in milk a few minutes. If someone likes very crunchy cereal, it's a great cereal for them. I found that the cereal tasted a lot like granola bites.
The nutritional facts state the cereal has 190 calories, 10 grams of fat, 45 grams carbohydrate, 4 gram protein, 5 gram dietary fiber, 290 grams sodium, 110 grams potassium, and 0 grams cholesterol. The cereal contains zero grams of saturated fat, trans fat, polyunsaturated fat, and mono-unsaturated fat. The serving size of the cereal is 1 cup. The cereal is a third of the recommended daily amount of whole grain. The nutritional facts were not based on milk added to the cereal.
General Mills and Curves teamed up to offered products to help with weight loss management. General Mills and Curves claims in the advertisement you can eat whole grain and keep your weight off. Curves suggest 30 minutes of exercise 3 times a week. A general mill offers granola bars and cereals under the curves name. Curves offer a place for women to do aerobic exercises and strength training. There are over 10,000 curves locations all over the world. They offer a variety of products from clothing to food. The Curves weight loss program is based on eating right and exercising 3 times a week for 30 minutes.
The cereal is available in most stores around the country that carry grocery items. I found cereal priced around $3.50 a box. I was satisfied with Wal-Mart's shipping time of the cereal. I was disappointed the cereal did not come with a coupon to purchase a large box. I did look for coupons on yahoo search and found a variety of places offer the coupons to buy or print out. I would consider the cereal a good buy and would purchase it again based on the taste but, not the crunch.
