The Cheapest Big Screen LCD Boasting a 120hz Refresh Rate

Product Overview:
The styling on the SV420XVT is fantastic. With the glossy black bezel framing the 42 inch screen and the silver highlight at the base this display really stands out from the crowd. This television is mountable but comes with an adjustable base coated in the same glossy black finish. The speakers are discreetly housed at the base of the frame and produce better than average acoustics. The television itself is a little bulkier than some of the other models on the market, especially with the stand. The remote is simple and intuitive.
The image produced by this 1080p display is clear and clean. For the price level I have certainly been impressed with the performance of the SV420XVT. I used the Playstation 3 to delivers a true HD 1080p resolution via HDMI to the Vizio and had fantastic results. This is one of the few low cost high definition LCD televisions that actually stack up well against some of the markets other leaders. The 120hz display successfully eliminated any motion blur for me however there was a rare occasional quick jitter noticeable. I believe the majority of consumers will be pleased with this LCD's black levels. For those without and HD source standard definition viewing is more than acceptable.
The connectivity is extraordinary on this Vizio. The SV420XVT is clearly one of their flagship models and they have outfitted it as such. It boasts 4 HDMI inputs as well as a number of other inputs for both high and standard definition viewing. There are several conveniently located on the side allowing for easy access. I found this to be very helpful, especially with mounted models.
Product Value:
The SV420XVT is currently priced at just under $1100. It is difficult to find a high quality 42" LCD television under this price point and impossible to find one with a 120hz refresh rate. I believe virtually all consumers from the novice home theater buy to the expert will be please with this television.
