The reason I love this drive-thru feature so much is because when you have a sleeping baby in your car the last thing you want to do is wake them up just to drop off or pick up your prescriptions. I have never even waited for more than just a few minutes on the drive-thru line. You drive up to the window and press the call button. They will ask if you are dropping off or picking up a prescription. If you are picking up they ask you your name through the intercom so by the time they get to you they already have your prescription bag. They accept cash and credit cards at the window.
Yesterday I had to go take passport photos of both myself and my 2 year old son. What a nightmare. I was easy. All I had to do was stand there in front of the white background and snap. My son on the other hand was very difficult. He started freaking out when the lady tried to get him to stand in front of the white background. We were probably there for almost half an hour trying to get him to do this. The ladies that were helping me were wonderful. They had so much patience with us. They tried anything they could think of from making silly faces to giving him a lollipop. Finally when I saw this was not going to work I asked if I could do this at home. They said as long as I had my son stand against a white wall and take his picture from the neck up.
I thanked them and paid for my picture and went home. When my husband came home that night we were able to get my son take the picture. I ran to CVS at 8:00 that night with my digital camera in tow. When I got there it was a different lady helping me but she knew exactly who we were. The previous ladies filled her in on what happened so she was expecting me. How nice was that! She took the card from my camera and uploaded it. She was able to get a passport photo of my son from the pictures we took at home. What a wonderful experience. Not everyone would have had the same patience with a customer.
Moving on to their pharmacy department. They are always so helpful. You could walk in and just ask them a question and not even buy anything. They are still friendly and helpful. A had a hard time finding a drugstore who stocked my asthma inhaler. All of the other pharmacies kept telling me it was discontinued even though I knew it wasn't. I called CVS and they had it in stock! They said it was never discontinued and dispensed it to me right away. Anytime I have called to renew a prescription by phone it was always ready as soon I got there. I never have to wait to pick up a phoned in prescription. Even if you do have to wait they have chairs for you to sit in.
So much more. This CVS had so much more than just their pharmacy items. You can buy anything from milk, bread, diapers, to magazines, toys, film, etc..The list just goes on and on. They are always running great sales too. If you sign up for their CVS card you can save even more. I can't find my CVS card but if you tell them your phone number they will look it up in the computer for you. I can't say enough good things about this store. One more thing, they have plenty of parking in both the front and back of the store too.
I would highly recommend this CVS in Center Moriches located on Main Street across from the Fire House.
