CWFI Devotional Bible Guide: Aaron Lesson Eleven the Pestilence
The Adventures: The Pestilence Exodus 9:1-7
A. The LORD spoke to Moses, Go and speak to the king of Egypt and say, "The LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: "Let my people go to worship me.
B. Verse two: If you continue not to listen and prevent them,
C. Verse three: the LORD will punish you. He will send pestilence on your domesticated animals of the fields. He will allow your horses, donkeys, camels, goats, cattle, and sheep to become ill.
D. Verse four: The LORD will exempt the Israelite animals from the animals of Egypt. Not one of the Israelite animals will die.
E. Verse five: The LORD specified tomorrow at this time he will do this in the land.
F. Verse six: The promise of the LORD was manifested the next day. All of the domesticated animals in Egypt died, but the animals of Israel were exempt from the plague.
G. Verse seven: The king sent messengers to check on the Israelite animals, and found that not one of the Israelite animals died. But the king of Egypt remained stubborned and did not release the people.
(Note: Pharaoh will see another plague tomorrow).
