The Adventures: Moses and Aaron Exodus 9:8-12

Dr. Phillip Clark
A. So far the plagues of Egypt were the waters into blood, the frogs, the lice, the flies and the pestilence that killed domesticated animals.

B. The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, "From a furnace fill your hands with ashes. In front of the king of Egypt and toss the ashes in the air.

C. Verse 9 In the land of Egypt the ashes will scatter like dust. It will cause boils on the skin of the people and animals. in the entire land of Egypt. (Note: Ashes are created by burning materials. Some powdery residue caused by burning can cause toxic reactions to the skin or if inhaled. The use of chemistry was used to seal tombs of the Pharaohs'. A toxic powdery substance used over, beneath, or inside the mummy carcasses coffins. the toxic substance have paralyzed, blinded, created devastating toxic reaction to the skin, and or killed humans. Even the paint Egyptians used in the pyramid hieroglyphic artifacts on the walls are toxic. With an concentrated toxic fume and locked sealed air creates dangerous and fatal toxic fumes for any intruder into the opening of the sacred tombs. But Moses and Aaron didn't use any toxic chemistry. They used ash materials that would eventually poison the land of Egypt. That was a miracle).

D. Moses and Aaron obeyed the LORD. They took the ashes and scattered it in the air and it caused boils to inflame sores on the people and animals.

E. The magicians could not practice their magic and chemical sorcery, for they were infected with the boils as well as the Egyptian people.

F. But the LORD cause the king to be stubborn, so he refused to obey Moses and Aaron, just as the LORD had said.

G. (Note: The LORD deals with leaders differently than those that follow. He holds leaders accountable for their actions, reactions, and hesitations. To whom much is given, much is required).
