Cyber Monday 2010 Deals Start on Thanksgiving Day This Year

Cyber Monday 2010 deals are starting to circulate online and the most surprising thing - is that it looks like Cyber Monday will actually begin on Thanksgiving Day this year. The day after Thanksgiving, known as Black Friday, is usually the biggest shopping day of the year. Then, following Thanksgiving weekend, is what has come to be known as Cyber Monday, which is on Monday November 29, 2010 this year.

Lots of online retailers seem to be starting their Black Friday 2010 and Cyber Monday 2010 deals early this year as they battle for every shopper's dollar that they can get. And it makes sense, shoppers have limited dollars to spend and they want the best deals that they can find.

So if those deals can be found online with Cyber Monday 2010 deals then that is where the shoppers are going to go. No need to even get out of your pajamas to do your holiday shopping, just grab a cup of coffee and logon to the laptop.

Even Walmart.com will be offering great Cyber Monday 2010 deals online for Thanksgiving days. Discounts at Walmart.com are expected to be as high as 40% on about 150 online items. That 150 number is triple the number of items that had deals in 2009 at Walmart.com.

Lots of the Black Friday 2010 and Cyber Monday 2010 deals will actually be available on Thanksgiving Day, and this includes retailers like Amazon.com, JC Penny, Macy's, Target and Best Buy.

Best Buy has a early Cyber Monday 2010 online deal, but it is only for it's Reward Zone Members. If you happen to be a in the Best Buy Rewards Zone then you can get pre-selected early deals starting on November 22nd.

In 2009 $318 million was spent online on Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday online spending was $595 million, Cyber Monday totals were $887 million. Online retailers are hoping that the numbers for all three shopping days are higher this year.
