It was written by five men - Craig Love, Faheem Najm, Jonathan Smith, LaMarquis Jefferson, and Ronald Bryant. It was produced by well-known rap artist Lil' Jon. The keyboard used in this song sounds very similar to the keyboard played in Snap Yo Fingers. This song was released after Na Na (The Yummy Song) by Baby Bash. It is the song that precedes What Is It, another hit song from this album. There is a remix of this song which also features Hurricane Chris and Gorilla Zoe.
The music video for this song was directed by Malcolm Jones. It premiered on August 6, 2007. It was first played on Yahoo! Music. This song comes off of Baby Bash's album Cyclone. There were four song releases from this album, with Cyclone being the second. This song was the most successful, as it was the only one to make it into the top ten on the charts. It was also the only song to make it onto an international chart. This song was only released to the United States and to Canada, but it fared very well.
On August 11 of 2007, it debuted on the Billboard Hot 100. It debuted at spot number sixty-five. It finally broke the top forty after a little over a month on the charts. It made it up to spot number thirty-three at that point. It reached its highest spot on November 3, 2007, just three months after being on the charts. Its highest spot it reached was number seven. It was able to maintain this spot for two consecutive weeks. Along with this position, its peak position for the U.S. Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs was seventy. It also made it up to spot number seven on the U.S. Billboard Pop 100. It did not reach as high of success on the Canadian charts, as it made it up to spot number forty-one on the Canadian Hot 100.
