Da Bird: An Interactive Toy Your Cat Will Enjoy

Karen Reams
Looking for a great interactive toy for your favorite cat? Then you can't go far wrong with Da Bird. Da Bird provides hours of fun for both you and your feline friend.

Da Bird is basically a toy that mimics real birds, and cats just love it. It is made from a fiberglass rod, braided nylon string and aerodynamically configured feathers. Cats love to play with this toy, and they do not have catnip as the pull either.

Not only does this great inter-active toy provide your cat with tons of fun it is also a great toy for encouraging exercise, and if your puss is a tad over weight there is no easier way than Da Bird to encourage exercise.

If you do purchase your cat a Da Bird then I would seriously advise hiding it when not in use. Your cat will want to play with this all day, and you will not get a minutes peace.

The Da Bird can be dragged along the ground, or made to fly. Cats chase the Da Bird, pouncing, fighting, clawing and biting and once one session is over they are ready for the next. Of course with a bit of human imagination the hunting games can get really exciting..

When Da Bird is 'flown' your cat will leap into the air trying to catch his prey.

A great game is to make Da Bird change directions, which challenges the cat to make a u- turn in mid pursuit. This tends to make cats a bit upset with Da Bird and even more determined to win the fight.

When playing with your cat and Da Bird expect to see your cat in hot pursuit mode much of the time. You know - ears back, keeping low to the ground and poised for flight.

Cats are hunters and this is the ideal 'hunting' game that your cat can play inside. Another bonus with the Da Bird, he may be caught but you will not have a 'bloody' mess and tons of loose feathers on your hands to clear up.

Da Bird is also great for keeping the older cat agile and healthy too which is a must if they are to be around for many years.
