Daddy Long Legs
Arachnophobia in Rhyme
This Daddy makes me insecure.
With limbs that stretch like single hairs,
He creeps to catch me unawares.
Along the ceiling line, he walks,
And in the attic, simply shocks.
When Daddy Long Legs lurks about,
I grab a shoe and stomp him out.
Although I may say this is true,
Most likely, I just scream. I do!
Then Mister Bad-Bug-Killer brave
Must catch him, as I rant and rave.
For Daddy Long Legs may be small,
But I don't like him, not at all.

Ha, that's cute. I barely like any bugs. Once there was a big huge beetle in my bedroom and I had to wake my younger sister up in the middle of the night to kill it for me, brave huh?lol, cute poem.

Isn't it curious that this spider was named DADDY long legs? Why not MAMMA long legs? I enjoyed this honey. Made me glad I have Terminex visit every quarter! ha!
