Daddy's Girl

Alicia Cruz
I'm a daddy's girl, I admit it...and I'm proud of it. I have the best father any woman could ever ask for.

My father led my brothers to be the best men, by the examples he set. He has always been a man of very few words, but when he speaks, he speaks volumes.

He has a wealth of knowledge for a man born and raised in a third world country. It's not much of a wonder my Abuela and my mother love and adore him so.

It's no wonder why I tend to gravitate towards men who bear similar traits as my father. And it's no wonder why I look for those same traits in the men I choose to date and love. If I could find a man half as wonderful as my father, I would be blessed three times over.

I hear that women who have healthy relationships with their father make better spouses and mates. They say they can relate to men better. Your musing was a sweet ode to your father. He must be a wonderful man.
