Daddy's Little Girl-Make a Connection with Your Daughter
Accessories for Little Girls Who Want to Spend Time with Dad
Look around the next time you're in the sporting goods store and I'm sure you'll see some pink items in unsuspected places. I've saw Barbie fishing rods, Cinderella sleeping bags and pink tackle boxes recently. There are even pink guns out now days for those Dad's with really adventurous daughters that want to go along on the next hunt.
I loved working on the car with my Dad when I was younger. Well, now they have pink and red tool boxes for girls. How cool is that? Any girl would love to have a tool box of her very own. There are tools with pink handles, pink coveralls, and pink gloves. With all of these accessories your little girl will be all decked out and ready to tackle most any car troubles.
Some Dad's find it hard to connect with their daughters. I think its great manufacturers are making "manly" products geared towards little girls. Dads should use these products to their advantage. Little girls want to spend time with their Dad's and they love to accessorize. Putting the two together is a win win situation!
These new girly accessories make great gifts! Buy your little girl a pretty fishing rod and tackle box and head out to the lake. She'll probably want a cute outfit just for fishing, and this is ok. Don't expect it to be the same as fishing with the boys. It will be a new adventure for you also. Use the time out on the boat to talk about what's going on in her life, who her friends are, and other important things you don't have time for every day. Make her feel that you want to be spending time with her. You are doing something you enjoy with your daughter. This should make sharing and connecting a lot easier.
Think about all the fun you can have teaching your daughter about fishing, working on cars, and the great outdoors. Every girl should learn about these things, and who better to teach her than her Dad. I promise your daughter will remember the time you spend with her for the rest of her life, and you will treasure the memories for years to come.
