Incorporating Daffodils into the Ceremony
The most obvious place to start adding daffodils into your wedding ceremony is the bouquets. Both the bride and the bridesmaids should carry this flower in their bouquets. Although you can choose to incorporate other flowers into the bouquets, daffodils alone can create an elegant appearance. Keep in mind that the bridesmaids should wear a color which complements yellow, such as another shade of yellow, blue, purple, orange, or pink. The groomsmen should wear daffodil boutonnieres.
Brides who are thinking about wearing a flower in their hair may want to consider incorporating a daffodil into their wedding hairstyle. Although you can have your bridesmaids wear daffodils in their hair instead, it is important to make sure that your hairstyle is more elegant than theirs. Wearing a tiara or hair jewelry can ensure that your hair is more eye-catching.
If you want to incorporate more daffodils into an outdoor wedding ceremony, there are several ways to do this. For starters, you may want to consider lining the aisle with Shepard's hooks and fill them with daffodils. If the outdoor wedding ceremony location offers a gazebo, find out if they will allow you to decorate it with daffodils.
Planning a Daffodil Themed Wedding Reception
Daffodils can be incorporated into wedding centerpieces. You can choose to leave the daffodils stemmed so that they look tall and elegant. Some brides may prefer for their centerpieces to be shorter, however. You can incorporate them with candles or floating candles. No matter what you decide, daffodil wedding centerpieces can be stunning.
Another way to incorporate daffodils into your wedding reception is by adding them to the wedding cake. Silk yellow daffodils can look gorgeous on a white wedding cake. You may also choose to have the baker create daffodils with fondant or icing for a more creative appearance.
Additionally, be sure to consider the small details of the wedding reception. The wedding guest book and the table numbers can both be daffodil-oriented. While these details may seem insignificant, your guests will notice.
A daffodil wedding theme can be a beautiful option for brides who love this flower. Remember that before the wedding even approaches, you can begin incorporating this flower into your special day by sending out daffodil themed wedding invitations.
