Dallas Cowboy Baby Halloween Cheerleading Costume

Rosa Hayes
I understand that if you are reading this then you want tips that are unique and true to the touch to create a Dallas Cowboy baby cheerleader Halloween costume. I am great at creating things and after being a mother of six I can say that I have some how worked my way through every NFL team during the last few years of Halloween. I helped to create a Dallas Cowboy baby cheerleader Halloween costume for my neighbor's baby and also helped to make a nice NFL player of the Dallas Cowboy for their son. I love creating costumes for Halloween since it is the one day of the year that you can pretend to be someone else. If you want to create a Dallas Cowboy baby cheerleading costume then you have come to the right place since this is something that I enjoy doing and you will too.

Dallas Cowboy baby cheerleader props

The props are always fun but you are probably not going to want to go all out and purchase a couple of pompoms since your child is only an infant. Here is something that you might be interested in doing; Purchase two balls that you can super glue two straps onto. The balls need to be blue and the straps should be silver. The straps are used to hold the balls on the hand and the balls are used in place of the pompoms.

A cowboy hat is nice but not required to make this costume. If you want to go with the hat then I suggest you take a look at Wal-Marts selection of toy hats and try to find one in either a blue or silver color. Some NFL stores carry hats like these so that you can get one that is identical to the ones that the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders wear.

Some parents find this difficult to find so you can create your own by purchasing a blue onsie or shirt that is the same as the NFL team's color. Try to find a shirt or onsie that is long sleeved since it will more than likely be cold on Halloween night. A white vest is also needed to create a great costume to go along with your favorite NFL team but if you can't find one you can always sew star patches onto the onsie. If you have to put your own stars on the vest or onsie the cheerleaders for the Dallas Cowboys have three blue stars going down both sides of the vest. If you are having to use the onsie as the vest you can always change it's color to white or use white stars instead of the blue. The skirt may be a little harder to find but you can probably find one at a baby outlet store or maybe at a toy store that sales cowgirl outfits. The Dallas Cowboy cheerleader outfits have three blue stars going across the area just below the waste line and you can sew these on or you can purchase some iron on patches.

Dallas Cowboy baby cheerleader boots

We might as well face it; you probably aren't going to be able to find any white cowboy boots for your infant unless you go down to a western store and pay a fortune for them. Wal-Mart or other places like this might have a pair of white cowboy boots but there is another way around this. Since your child is still an infant they will probably be in a stroller or carried by you so you could always just let them hang out in a pair of socks or white shoes instead if you are look to go for the cheaper route.

I wouldn't suggest putting makeup on your baby since it can cause an allergic reaction and I also would definitely make sure that you take a coat with you or a blanket since you never know how cold it is going to be on Halloween. Just have fun with making this costume and take lots of photos so you can show your cute little baby off to those who couldn't be there for the moment.
