An Interview Worth Reading

Alright. How many of you have been looking for a second income online? Don't try to deny it either because the big stat of the day is, one out of every eight households have an online business. Now how they chose the industry they're in remains to be seen, but it's almost becoming a necessity. Why? Well, does War, health care, gas costs, job layoffs, and a poor economy ring a bell?

One thing I've found over the years about the Internet is that business owners never get to show much personality. A lot of the issue has to do with it only taking one person to call something a SCAM and then everyone else is quick to follow because if it's written in cyberspace it must be true right? Then of course the face-to-face piece which is missing from the puzzle. So I started finding business owners you can learn to know and understand as people.

This brought me to J and J Sunshine and the family behind the scenes. Damien Harding with his wife Michelle have a template on their website that just makes you feel good. So of course we got in contact with each other and before you know it here we are today. You'll find our conversation fill you with joy, tears, and laughter all in one.

Michael:Hey man you ready? I wanted to start out today by asking you how you came up with the name J and J Sunshine for our readers?

Damien Harding: Well that's an interesting story. My wife and I gave birth to twins (a daughter who we named Justice, and a son, Jordan) in July 2001. Unfortunately they were born prematurely (at 19 weeks) and did not survive. We decided to dedicate all of our future business ventures to their memory. They were to be the sunshine of our lives. Hence the name J & J Sunshine.

Michael:Damien, I don't even have the words. All I can say is, that is a great name.

Damien Harding: Thanks.

Michael:So, what exactly is it you do at J and J Sunshine?

Damien Harding: Well, I help people who want to make a change in their lives by introducing them to a business opportunity that is both simple and effective. Basically I seek people who want to take control of their life, introduce them to our business, and let them take it from there.

You won't find any telling, selling, or explaining to prospective business partners. I'm like a tour guide - I just show you around a bit and leave the decision making up to you. Why use high pressure tactics - there's no need. The business is what it is, but it is not for everyone.

Michael:Lol, "It is what it is." I say that all the time myself. It's actually nice to hear a network marketer like yourself put it that way. Okay. I have a scenario for you that the readers will want to know. How long was it before you started making money online?

Damien Harding: It actually took about two months before I started making money. However, I decided to put the money back into the business to help it grow faster which has been very beneficial.

Michael:Oh cool. Okay, I have a scenario for you. What if someone came into your business and you held their hand basically all the way up until they started making money, how long would it take? How long before they can quit the J.O.B. and stick it to "The Man."

Damien Harding: Great question. The answer is simple though, because each situation is different. I've seen people dive in and be successful in days. I have seen people take over a year. It took me a couple months to start pocketing money, but we put the vast majority of the money back into the business. I left my job a month after I started the business to devote more time to making my personal goals a reality. However, I wouldn't ever advise anyone to quit their job before they were consistently pulling down their profit goals. However, three to six months is reasonable.

Michael:Well it's great to know you are being realistic with the J and J Sunshine. It gets old listening to the same old thing about how everyone can make you so much money, blah, blah, blah.

Damien Harding:Oh I've been through that time and time again. It's nice to be different from the normal, everyday hype.

Michael: I definitely hear you. Listen, I know you have to go shortly, but I got three more questions for you real quick.

Damien Harding:Shoot.

Michael: I was curious and I'm sure the readers are too, but what did you do before starting J and J Sunshine?

Damien Harding: Ha, I had a great job as a Sales Manager for NASCAR.

Michael:Really, that awesome! Why in the world would you quit such a lucrative job?

Damien Harding: I absolutely loved my job in all respects except one - it left me very little time to spend with my wife and children. Though I was successful in the corporate world, I have always wanted to be my own boss and control my own destiny. So I went in search of a real opportunity to earn money from the web with J and J Sunshine.

Michael:Well it sounds like you, Michelle and the kids are doing quite well. Congrats!

Damien Harding: Thanks Mike. It's been a lot of fun.

Michael:Nice. Hey before we go why don't you tell everyone one thing that people really don't know about you that we can all get a few chuckles from today.

Damien Harding: Haha, okay. You ready? I am afraid of raisins. I am not sure that it rises to the level of a phobia, but the sight of raisins gets me antsy. That's probably more sad than funny.

Michael:Uh, nope that's pretty hilarious man! Definitely worth the laugh, thanks. Listen, it's been fun and I hope the J and J Sunshine business continues to be successful for you and your family.

Damien Harding: Thanks. I'll give you a call later on this week. See ya.

Michael: Sounds good. Later.

If you're looking for a secondary income Damien is definitely someone to have as a mentor or sponsor or whatever they call it these days. However, had I just passed by the J and J Sunshine website without contacting him, I never would of had the chance to meet the family behind the HTML codes. Needless to say, neither would you.

Great interview Michael. I have learned that it is best to call and get all the facts about the business opportunity. Seems like a nice family and business to look into.

Yea, anyone else who comes by and comments I wrote this once and published. The only problem was AC had a bug or something in their coding and my article text ended up in my resources box. I erased it and then put in Damien's URL and evidently it erased all the content of the article. So I had to write another one and re-publish here. Just and FYI for anyone else that clicks on the first one and it says "This content has been removed."

Nice article..you need to know I had to leave my e mail site (the alert that you've been published) go into AC site, and go to my favs to pull up this story. It just wouldn't come up from my e mail. But glad it got published, and good work!
