Dan Logue Speaks His Vision of California Economy

A State of Emergency is What California Currently Is

Lorraine Yapps Cohen
California State Assemblyman, Dan Logue (R), put it to the people in his own words. California isn't just another state, it's a state in emergency.

Much learned from Texas
After a visit to Texas, Logue returned to California fired up about the state of his state. Inasmuch as low-key Logue gets fired up at all, the dire straits of the state prompted Logue to strong statements.

"We are absolutely overregulated and overtaxed," he said in response to a SacBee piece citing California as the worst state in which to do business. California's holding that position for the last seven years holds no glory for the Golden State. Listen here to Logue's remarks.

He went on to say that "businesses are voting with their feet." They're leaving, heading for greener pastures--make that flatter plains--in places like Texas. Even Michigan. Anywhere but where the state taxes its businesses to death. Listen more here.

Stop ABC
"ABC, Anywhere But California" is the prevailing slogan of business exodus today. Logue leads the effort to turn that around. Rather than business going anywhere but California, "we want them to go TO California. That's the vision we have."

You've got to applaud visionary fellows like Logue with lofty dreams of business nirvana. This, in a state concerned at all cost with clean everything, celebrity, socialist sentimentality, with no concern at all about prosperity. Oh, and don't forget the pensions. Keep those coming by taxing business out of business. What you wind up with is a beautiful state with no jobs where no one works.

Highest priority
But Logue is a doer, not a whiner, nor looking for pork or a handout. Republican Assembly members promptly proposed jobs bills to get the state back on its economic feet. He urged Gov. Jerry Brown to recognize the state of economic emergency the state is in. "The Governor needs to suspend the regulations" that send California's businesses out of state. A sound bite concludes with a demand of Jerry Brown: "This has to be his highest priority."

Brown and his henchmen already deny that Texas had anything to teach them. More on the California deaf ears coming soon.

I'm glad California is returning the state to its pristine state before people arrived; now I'll be able to visit and enjoy the scenery without worry that people might get into my pictures! LOL!

Actually poor management succeeded in ruining California and greed is holding those who can make a difference from doing anything. Great analysis!

Deaf ears can lead to a deadened society - too bad California doesn't heed what they hear! cheers ;)
