After reading just one piece of his poetry; however, I was hooked forever. Normally, I don't go for verse that makes me think.I like poetry that paints a picture, inspires, or recalls memories. Dan's work does all of that, but it also moves me and it makes me think. With him, you get the best of all poetry worlds. Here is a good example, entitled"Thy Most Perfect Hour."
Like many of the poets I have highlighted, poetry isn't Dan's only forte. He also writes intriguing pieces that offer deep insight and sensitivity. I loved his piece entitled "Understanding Childhood Drawings."
Reading Dan's work is a total pleasure; one you shouldn't deny yourself. Here is a link to his profile page.
Like many of my highlighted writers, Dan has been with Associated Content for about a year. He says, "I wanted a chance to work from home as a writer, and AC is a good opportunity to do that."
He loves being able to write on any topic of his choosing. " I can have a variety of ideas this way without feeling inhibited."
Dan considers family relationships one of his areas of expertise. He gives the example, "when do parents know their child is ready to start dating?" I don't know about you but I could have used him during my children's teen years.
He discloses that he would like to eventually write news stories like Tony Vega and Tim Sexton. He says, "I would also like to be more involved in political writing."
He declined to share names of his favorite AC writers for fear of leaving someone out. He simply suggests, "they know who they are."
He likes to read articles in the categories of politics, human relationships, humor, and poetry. He admits that his tastes are eclectic and that he likes reading lots of different things.
His advice to new Associated Content writers is this: "I would just tell them not be afraid to ask questions. There are great people here!" He would also tell them that search engine optimization just takes practice. It won't happen over night.
He says to his fans "I just mean to be a friendly guy who will try to be helpful in any way I can." He has already succeeded in that by befriending a large population of AC writers. Still, he would love to add you to his list. So would I. This is one writer that just shouldn't be missed!
