Dance the Night Away at the Best Dance Clubs in Baltimore, Maryland

Amalynn
Some of the hottest and hippest bars and dance clubs can be found in Baltimore, Maryland. Here's a list of the more popular ones in the city!

Cancun Cantina

Like both rock and country? Well, then Cancun Cantina is definitely the place for you. Two sides make up the bar, one for rock and the other side for country, although country is the main attraction. Stop in for some line-dancing and hot-stepping any day of the week. Dress up as cow-boyish (or girlish!) as you dare. Grab a beer and sit out a minute on the wooden barrels that serve as stools around the dance floor. Friday hosts the "best body" contest, you won't want to miss that! The other part of the bar is reserved for a DJ spinning out hip-hop and techno. Fog machines and flashing lights are the norm at Cancun Catina. This part of the club is actually on an outdoor deck, which becomes covered in the winter. Plus, during the day, you can watch your favorite sporting event from the deck from the many televisions set around the club. For more information, check out their website at www.cancuncantina.com or stop in at 7501 Old Telegraph Road.

The 13th Floor

The 13th Floor is located exactly where you would think-on the 13th floor of the historic Belvedere Hotel. From this floor you can check out the beautiful lamp-lined Charles Street and the wonderfully old buildings. Live music, played by local bands, goes on every night of the week. The atmosphere is calm, laid back, yet busy almost every day, especially weekends. You'll love the variety of music played, and the Happy Hour that runs late, from 6 pm to 9 pm on the weeknights. The two-for-one drinks on those days is obviously a huge hit, too! For upcoming events, go to the 13th Floors website at www.trufflescatering.com/13th/index.html or drop by at 1 E Chase Street. You'll be happy you did!

Baja Beach Club

Are you a little on the broke side but still want to party? Well, then, the Baja Beach Club is the right place for you! Thursday night is one-dollar drinks all night. The Baja Beach Club is well-known for specials like that. They see themselves as a spring break kinda bar all year. Check out their many pool tables and dart machines. Watch your favorite sport on t=one of the many TV's, or get your groove on at the huge dance floor. You'll always feel like you're at the beach at the Baja!
