Dance Recital Theme Idea - Shopping Mall

A shopping mall theme is a fun recital theme idea! Imagine the stage decorated with a mall themed backdrop (store windows or an escalator). You can put props in the corner such as shopping bags and hat boxes. Put "Sale" and "Clearance" signs around the stage. Replace your normal "Dance Recital Program" book with a "Mall Directory." In the "Mall Directory," for any announcements, use the words, "Attention Mall Shoppers." Use anywhere from 1-3 songs for each type of store. Here are some songs to get you started.
