Owned and operated for than many twenty years by Ms. Margaret Dymon, budding ballerinas, older teens and adults at this Barre dance studio can concentrate on a career in ballet at the Central Massachusetts School of Ballet.

Ballet classes are offered for children starting at preschool age. Ms Dymon offers ballet classes for varying levels at the dance studio on Valley Road in Barre. The dance studio does not hold a formal recital at the conclusion of their dance year, choosing rather to focus on developing dancer's ballet skills than on performing. However, the dance studio in Barre hosts several renowned ballet dancers as guests performers and guests teachers for the students throughout the year. In addition, parents and families of the dancers are invited into the studio for an intimate performance one or two times each year to showcase the dancer's progress.

Shelley's Drop In Dance Classes
Shelley Lanciani offers dance classes on a drop-in basis every Wednesday at the American Legion Post 404 in Barre as an alternative to committing to more formal classes at a dance studio.

Shelley offers several different styles of dance for students ages five to adult. Dance classes with Shelley are available in Hip Hop, Lyrical, and Ballet. Students interested in taking dance classes with Shelley can attend class as often or as little as they like, making Shelley's dance classes a nice dance studio alternative for any child juggling busy school, sports, and activities schedules. Shelley's drop-in dance classes are on a pay-as-you go basis; the cost for each session is $7.00, and is payable at the time of the class.

In addition, Shelley offers a drop-in Ballet class free to any Quabbin Regional School District athlete in grades five to twelve.

Dance Revolution
Dance Revolution is Barre, Massachusetts full service dance studio, run by three sisters, Misty, Amber, and Sheena Duval. The dance studio is enjoying its second year in business, and is growing in popularity due to the family-friendly instruction and planning of the Duval girls. Dance Revolution offers quality, affordable dance instruction for all ages, in several genres of dance.

Ballet, Lyrical, 'Funky' and Traditional Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Acro classes are all offered through Dance Revolution in Barre. Dance classes are offered for children ages preschool and older, including adult only classes and fitness classes for adults.

Dance students generally choose from thirty minute and forty-five minute classes; the monthly fee is $25.50 for half hour dance classes and $31.50 for forty-five minute classes.

Dance Revolution holds an annual recital in June at Quabbin Regional High School in Barre, Massachusetts. Awards and scholarships for Dance Revolution dance studio are awarded at the recital.
