Dancing with the Stars "The 200" 11.7 Recap

Find Out What Happened on the Season 11 Week 7 Episode of ABC's Reality Ballroom Dance Competition

Aviva Lee
Welcome back dance lovers to the latest episode of spray tans, sparkly outfits and snarky judges. Last week Audrina Patridge was voted off. This week it was the 200th episode and to celebrate many of the past memorable stars and pro dancers were invited back.

First off the professional dancers from seasons past danced to Beyonce's "Crazy in Love" - which was the first song ever danced to back when DWTS debuted in 2005.

Then the remaining six couples were split in to two groups coached by former DWTS champions (and Olympic gold medalists) Kristi Yamaguchi and Apolo Ohno. They would compete in a cha-cha-off and the group score would be incorporated into the couples' individual scores.

Team Kristi Yamaguchi: Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer, Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke, and Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas. Their dance was energetic and fun and the judges were impressed - meaning they had low expectations.

Score: 24

Team Apolo Ohno: Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough, Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya, and Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. This team had Jen and Brandy so was at an advantage at the start. They didn't disappoint and the judges gave 9s across the board.

Score: 27

Then the couples danced a memorable dance from a past season with that star sitting in and giving a score during the judging. The stars were Mel B, Emmitt Smith, Helio Castroneves, Gilles Marini and Drew Lachey.

Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer:
They recreated Mel B and Maks' paso doble (remember - the one with the whip?) to "Free your Mind." Kyle really got into it and the judges loved it. Len said it was his best dance to date. Mel B was blown away.
Score: 35 + 24 = 59

Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya:
They danced Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke's tango to "Simply Irresistible." It was apt because Kurt and Emmitt are both football guys. The judges commended Kurt's footwork and passion. Carrie Ann said he really made the dance his own. Emmitt sympathized about neck placement (football dudes keep it down to protect themselves) and said Kurt looked dapper.
Score: 34 + 27 = 61

Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas:
They re-did Kelly Osbourne and Louis Van Amstel's Viennese waltz. The judges thought Bristol did a good job and were careful not to criticize her too much, but they did tell her she needed to connect with the audience more.
Score: 33 + 24 = 57

Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke:
They recreated Helio Castroneves and Julianne Hough's quickstep (where he dressed up in a banana-yellow zoot suit). Rick wore green and really got into the dance. The judges said he had more faces than Jim Carrey.
Score: 37 + 24 = 61

Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy:
They danced Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke's foxtrot set to "Fever." They definitely burned up the dance floor and the judges called the dance very sexy. Gilles said he got goose bumps but only gave them a 9, as did Carrie Ann and Bruno. But Len - who said it was the most fantastic foxtrot ever to cross the stage - gave them a 10.
Score: 37 + 27 = 64

Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough:
Although Jen struggled through the rehearsal they sizzled on the dance floor re-doing Drew Lachey and Cheryl Burke's tango. Bruno called her a phoenix. Drew thought she had beautiful lines and could win the competition.
Score: 37 + 27 = 64

On Tuesday the Results show will feature Taylor Swift, Rod Stewart and dancers from the Broadway musical "Mary Poppins."

The Results show is Tuesday 9 pm on ABC.
