Dancing with the Stars 2010: ABC Brings Drama Back to DWTS

Bristol Palin's Baby Daddy Drama Avoided by Dancing with the Stars 2010 Audience Ban

Dancing with the Stars 2010 is set to be a lot of Drama. The cast of DWTS 2010 - the fall season - is slated to have plenty of antics up there sleeve. Of course, last season we had Kate Gosselin and that was traumatic in and of itself. The anticipation over when Gosselin would be ousted from the lineup was the talk of blogs and rumor mills until it actually transpired (and then people were disappointed because, really, things got quite boring after that.)

However this year, we have Bristol Palin. I guess you could dub her "Bristol Pain" because already she seems like a pain in the Butt-Docks (as Forrest Gump would say.)

The drama starts as Bristol has had Levi Johnston, her baby daddy, banned from the set. Of course, one would wonder why he would show up after all they have been through. They had the baby, broke up, got engaged - and then broke up again shortly thereafter.

However, Perez Hilton reports that the only person that loves publicity more than the Palins themselves is Levi Johnston.

After all, he is running for the Mayor of Wasilla, a post once held by his would-be mother-in-law. He's also chronicling that run in a reality TV show (that no one will watch.) I guess I could see him coming to the set to drum up some excitement, drama, and attention.

However, Perez goes on to quote that "The last thing in the world Bristol wants is to look up from her cha-cha-cha and see his big goofy grin looking at her. This is her time to shine and she doesn't want him trying to steal her spotlight."

So not only do we have the claims that Bristol "can't dance" and "has no experience" and wants to show the world that mothers can do it all - an eerily similar mantra from last year's infamous contestant - we also have baby daddy drama.

Of course, I love drama and I would have secretly loved to have seen the aftermath of Levi Johnston showing up in the DWTS audience, and then Bristol having a tearful breakdown, darting off stage - swiftly followed by her dance partner (and a cameraman) who would then give her a televised live pep talk, wipe the tears from her eyes and go on dancing like she's never danced before.

The only thing that would beat that is a Jerry Springer inspired argument in the audience breaking out between Sarah Palin and Levi Johnston.

Yes, my friends - Dancing with the Stars 2010 is slated to be dramatic - perhaps a little over the top. But isn't that what we like?

Why does everyone have to be so critical of people?

I would like to know what is the definition of a STAR?I don't understand why will Bristol Paylan be consider a Star. Are we sending a wrong message to our youngsters? Become a single teenage mother, and you might end up dancing with the Stars. Something is very wrong here.
