Dancing with the Stars 2010 Celebrity & Dancer Pairing Lineup Announced on 'Good Morning America'

Nicole Schrezinger Paired with Derek Hough for DWTS Season 10

The 2010 Dancing with the Stars celebrity lineup received their professional dancer pairings on Good Morning America Tuesday. The season 10 celebrities were announced on Monday night's season finale of The Bachelor. The celebrity pairing will bust out their best dance moves to compete for the Glitterball Trophy, starting Monday, March 22, 8/7c.

Nicole Schrezinger & Derek Hough

Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger and past DWTS winner Derek Hough are the early favorites to win season 10 of Dancing with the Stars. This is due in part to Scherzinger's membership in the dance-intensive singing group and Hough's past performances on the show. He won a season with actress Brooke Burke and competed fiercely last year with model Joanna Krupa.

Kate Gosselin & Tony Dovolani

Reality television star and mother of eight, Kate Gosselin will join the DWTS 2010 lineup with Tony Dovolani as her partner. Dovolani will be dancing his ninth season in the competition. It will be fun to watch and see who leads who in this pair.

Niecy Nash & Louis Van Amstel

Comedian and actress Niecy Nash, of Clean House fame, will be paired with Louis Van Amstel. Van Amstel did well last season, making the finale with partner Kelly Osbourne.

Shannen Doherty & Mark Ballas

Former Charmed actress Shannen Doherty is teamed up with seasoned DWTS past winner Mark Ballas. Out of Ballas' previous five seasons, he has won the show twice. Partners for his wins were skater Kristi Yamaguchi and gymnast Shawn Johnson. It will be interesting to see if he can pull out a victory without a professional athlete as a partner.

Pamela Anderson & Damian Whitewood

Actress, model and frequent rock star love interest Pamela Anderson will be joining the Dancing with the Stars 2010 lineup. Anderson is paired with Australian ballroom dancer Damian Whitewood. Whitewood is a new addition to the DWTS cast.

Erin Andrews & Makism Chmerkovsky

Sports caster and recent voyeur video victim Erin Andrews is to be paired with Maksim Chmerkovsky. Chmerkovsky is a DWTS alum, but has yet to win a season. He did have the Mirrorball Trophy in reach a couple times, during good seasons with boxer Laila Ali and Mel B., of the Spice Girls.

Evan Lysacek & Ana Trebunskaya

Figure skater Evan Lysacek will be attempting another shiny award, fresh from Vancouver Olympic gold. He is paired with Chelsie Hightower, who has five previous seasons of Dancing With the Stars under her belt.

Chad Ochocinco & Cheryl Burke

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco will be taking his end zone moves to the DWTS stage. The football player is paired with dancer Cheryl Burke. Burke is a two-time winner of the show.

Jake Pavelka & Chelsie Hightower

The most recent star of ABC's The Bachelor, Jake Pavelka, is paired with Chelsie Hightower. This will be Hightower's third season on DWTS.

Aiden Turner & Edyta Sliwinska

Daytime soap actor Aiden Turner is paired with Edyta Sliwinska. Sliwinska has experience on her side, as the only professional dancer who has competed in all ten seasons of Dancing with the Stars.

Buzz Aldrin & Ashley Costa

Apollo 11 astronaut and octogenarian Buzz Aldrin will be dancing with Ashley Costa. Aldrin , 80, is the oldest competitor in DWTS history. Costa has not appeared on Dancing with the Stars since season three.

I bet Buzz Aldrin is dynamite :)

    I'd rather watch NCIS.

I'm trying to figure out how they came up with Buzz Aldrin as a contestant?

God, informative article, but I have to say I have totally lost interest in this show. It used to be about dancing, but now it's just about how skimpy the costumes can be and how sexually suggestive the dance moves can be. I'm not a prude, but I feel like the show has really sunk to a new low in attempt to grab ratings, since they can't get any real stars to appear on the show.

I wonder how Ochocinco will do- he certainly likes to dance in the endzone!

It is going to be a real barn burner this time around.
