Dancing with the Stars 2010 Fall Celebrity & Professional Pairings Revealed

The Dancing with the Stars 2010 Fall season continued its march toward the September 20 premiere this morning as the much-anticipated celebrity/professional pairings were revealed on Good Morning America. Here's a peek at who will Tango, Cha Cha and Paso Doble with whom on DWTS season 11.

Dancing with the Stars 2010 Fall Couples: The Celebri-Guys

Rocker turned balladeer Michael Bolton and So You Think You Can Dance alum Chelsie Hightower.

Former NBA star Rick Fox and two-time DWTS champion Cheryl Burke.

Baywatch superstar David Hasselhoff and Kym Johnson, who returns to Dancing with the Stars after a single-season hiatus.

That's So Raven's Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer, who returns to the DWTS ballroom after a season-long absence.

Jersey Shore's Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino and Karina Smirnoff.

NFL superstar quarterback Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya.

Dancing with the Stars 2010 Fall Couples: The Celebri-Girls

Singer/actress Brandy and bad boy of the ballroom Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Comedian Margaret Cho and Louie van Amstel.

Dirty Dancing actress Jennifer Grey and two-time Mirroball Trophy winner Derek Hough.

Brady Bunch matriarch Florence Henderson and Corky Ballas.

Teen mom and political daughter Bristol Palin and two-time DWTS champ Mark Ballas.

Reality TV star Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovolani.

Once again, pro dancer Derek Hough managed to draw a ringer, this time in Jennifer Grey, who most notably starred in, that's right: Dirty Dancing. The one challenge this time may be Grey's age (50), but even then, dance experience is a huge plus for any contestant. DWTS producers must love seeing blondie hoist that Mirrorball Trophy over his head at the close of the season.

I hadn't considered the possibility, but pairing The Situation with Karina Smirnoff is such utter perfection that it makes me snicker to think of the antics and drama that are sure to be in store. But hey, you never know: Maybe they'll surprise and be really, really good. (Or maybe it'll just be great entertainment to watch Karina smack around her extraordinarily ripped partner.)

Unlikely to fall into the 'really, really good' category (with apologies to those noted, of course) are Louie van Amstel's chances at ballroom glory; this is the second season in a row when he's snared a comedian for a partner. While they're certainly the most amusing of all contestants, they've not historically been the best dancers. Also in this category are Corky Ballas and Florence Henderson, who I certainly expect to be better than previous Dancing with the Stars contestant Cloris Leachman, but not quite up to snuff with last season's winner Nicole Scherzinger.

What are your thoughts on Dancing with the Stars 2010's Fall pairings? Feel free to sound off!
