Dancing with the Stars 2010 Fall Season Cast Revealed; Jersey Shore, Baywatch Represented
Dancing with the Stars 2010 Fall season contestants: The Athletes. When the curtain rises on DWTS season 11, not one but two popular American sports will be represented among the celebrity line-up. Former LA Laker Rick Fox, 41, and ex-NFL superstar quarterback Kurt Warner are set to Tango, Salsa and Paso Doble their way to ballroom greatness. They follow in the footsteps of a handful of fellow athletes who channeled their exceptional skills into equally exceptional runs on the show, including season 3 winner Emmitt Smith and season 2 runner-up Jerry Rice.
Dancing with the Stars 2010 Fall season contestants: The Reality Stars. If not for the meteoric rise of MTV's obsession with producing reality programming, the two DWTS season 11 hoofers who fall under this umbrella would still be unknowns. Audrina Patridge, 25, found fame as a cast member on the Laguna Beach spin-off The Hills. Similarly, 27-year old Mike Sorrentino, who is perhaps better known by the moniker The Situation, rose to stardom as an exceptionally ripped and toned member of The Jersey Shore posse.
Dancing with the Stars 2010 Fall season contestants: The Professional Entertainers. The bulk of the DWTS season 11 cast comes from the vast world of acting, singing, and all-around entertaining. Actor David Hasselhoff, 58, became an international celebrity after starring as beachcomber Mitch Buchannon in the 80s cult hit series Baywatch. Fifty-year old actress Jennifer Grey, who most notably heated up the big screen with Patrick Swayze in Dirty Dancing, is also slated to appear, as are singer/actress Brandy, 31, comedian Margaret Cho, 41, and That's So Raven's Kyle Massey, 19. Rounding out the list of pro entertainers are seventy-something Brady Bunch mom Florence Henderson, and 57-year old balladeer Michael Bolton.
Dancing with the Stars 2010 Fall season contestants: The 'Say What?!' Filling the 'I wonder how s/he managed to swing an invite' role of the season is Bristol Palin, 19, teen mom and daughter of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin.

It's really hard to get excited about this nonsense after such a great season of So You Think You Can Dance...where real dancers wow us with their incredible talent each week. I'd rather read a book thank you..and there are plenty of other things to watch!
Well this is about the biggest YAWN of a lineup I have seen to date! Are you kidding me?
Hasselhoff will probably get drunk and stumble by the second week...The Palin chick should be taking care of her baby not trying to earn free publicity for her media hungry mom...the only good point is the Mom can't say..."Leave the kids out of it!" anymore becuase the daughter has asked to be a public figure now. Florance Henderson? OMG I wouldn't have even wanted to see her dance when she was still on Brady Bunch...Brandy..hasn't done anything since she killed the pregnant woman with her car while on the pnone on a busy Los Angeles Freeway....as for the rest...WHO ARE THEY??? Jennifer Grey is the only one I've heard of. She was a dancer in dirty dancing, and on broadway for years, and comes from one of the most famous dancers..her father "Joel Grey" star of Caberet! And she doesn't think it's fair to call that an advantage? I watch this show when nothing else is on, but this fall there
I will BOYCOTT THE SPONSORS for putting Bristol Palin a single teen mother in the same catagory of STARS
I can't stand it when people like Bristol are considered stars! Sounds like a good round-up of dancers this season. :)
I guess they brought Bristol on for the controversy...keep them in the spotlight.
