Dancing with the Stars 2010 Lineup to Be Revealed; Gosselin Signs On

Longtime Dancing with the Stars host Tom Bergeron and Bachelor Rejectee Melissa Rycroft will reveal the Dancing with the Stars 2010 lineup tonight during the season finale of The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love. The show airs at 8 PM Eastern/Pacific on ABC.

Cast mumblings and rumors have been scarce for Dancing with the Stars' upcoming new season, which is set to premiere on March 22. Only two celebrities thus far have confirmed their participation in the popular reality show that pairs mostly B and C-list stars with professional dancers in a quest for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy: Former Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson, and celebreaity 'we love her, we hate her' star Kate Gosselin.

Kate Gosselin's participation in DWTS season 10 was confirmed just this morning by a report in Radar Online, which revealed that the mom of eight only agreed to participate if she could remain near her children. That means lots of time near her Pennsylvania home for Gosselin and her as-yet-to-be-named professional partner.

Finally, Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger was named as part of the Dancing with the Stars season 10 cast this morning by a report in I Mean... What? Whether or not the singer/dancer will take part is still yet to be confirmed by her representatives.

Model, actress and activist Pamela Anderson's name was the first to surface as a member of the Dancing with the Stars 2010 lineup several weeks ago.

One celebrity who will be not be hoofing it this season on Dancing with the Stars is former American Idol judge and singer Paula Abdul. Abdul had long been reported a potential DWTS contestant, but a recent report posted to TMZ claims that the singer rejected ABC's hefty offer in favor of pursuing other career options.

Although the Dancing with the Stars season 10 celebrity lineup is still largely unknown, professional dancers haven't been shy about sharing their participation status. A partial list of those confirmed to be returning to DWTS includes Cheryl Burke, Derek Hough, Mark Ballas, Anna Trebunskaya, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Louie van Amstel. Pro dancers who will not be returning include Jonathan Roberts, Karina Smirnoff, Lacey Schwimmer, Alec Mazo, Dmitry Chaplin and season 9 rookie Anna Demidova.

Give Kate a break! Get to know her and you will see that she is a good mother and only agreed to do DWTS if she could remain near her children. I am going to not only watch but hope she has fun as she closes the door on one chapter of her life and opens the next! Go Kate! I will be there and anxious to see you succeed!

I HAVE ALWAYS ENJOYED THE SHOW BUT I WILL NOT WATCH IT ANYMORE IF THAT ATTENTION HO IS GOING TO BE ON IT. SHE SHOULD BE AT HOME WITH THE KIDS.

For God's sake. A mother of six doesn't have anything better to do? These kids are gonna be on a shrink's couch before they're ten!
