'Dancing with the Stars' 2010 Lineup: Kate Gosselin, Erin Andrews, and Ochocinco

The 2010 'Dancing with the Stars' lineup has shaped up, and it looks like crazy eight just might be the lucky number this year. Early reports on who will be part of the '2010 Dancing with the Stars' lineup trickled in before names were announced officially, with quite a few very well-known names surprising us, including that of reality show mom of eight, Kate Gosselin, and a sports star known for the eight on his jersey, Chad Ochocinco. So these two were already making it start to look like a very interesting 2010 'Dancing with the Stars' lineup.

This could be Chad Ochocinco's lucky year. The wide receiver plays for the Bengals football team, and this is the Tear of the Tiger, after all (although it hasn't been a very lucky one for one famous Tiger). So how will Twitter addict Chad Ochocinco's fast fingerwork and finesse footwork compare to the rest of the 2010 'Dancing with the Stars' lineup?

Well, the tough guy is going to have some tough competition when it comes to the ladies confirmed to be a part of the 2010 'Dancing with the Stars' lineup so far. First he's going to have to go up against reality TV's toughest mom, Kate Gosselin. She doesn't mess around with that reverse mullet of hers, but it will be interesting to see if she tries extensions again for the 'Dancing with the Stars' competition. One thing's for sure, the mother of eight will likely look great in the form-fitting costumes, based on her past bikini pictures, but she'll be up against another woman known for her beach-worthy bod, the original sexy sun goddess and another bodacious blonde mom, Pamela Anderson.

However, when it comes to the 2010 'Dancing with the Stars' lineup, I'm not so sure that drama queens Pamela Anderson and Ochocinco will be making for must-see TV; I can't wait to see Kate Gosselin go up against an actress with an equally abrasive and diva-licious attitude, former '90210' star Shannen Doherty.

But as fun as it will be to see queen bees like Kate Gosselin and Shannen Doherty try to prove their female dominance on the dance floor, I think it's a shame we won't be getting to see that other mom of eight take the stage and do her best to ignite Kate Gosselin's rage. A Kate Gosselin and Octomom showdown would have been epic, and I can't even imagine the ratings the show would get.

I have a strong feeling Kate Gosselin would be a fierce competitor and Octomom wouldn't stand a chance, but I don't think Kate Gosselin's mom-on-the-go lifestyle has her in as great of shape as one of the other members of the 2010 'Dancing with the Stars' lineup, singer Nicole Scherzinger, who looks like she keeps herself in extremely good shape and does quite a bit of dancing along with her singing.

But looking at the rest of the 2010 'Dancing with the Stars' lineup, there are a few other names that stand out. Astronaut Buzz Aldrin is a national hero; Aiden Turner is the cute guy of the season, an actor from soap 'All my Children'; last Bachelor Jake Pavelka will have a lot of fans; Niecy Nash is the funny girl of the 2010 'Dancing with the Stars' lineup, one of the stars of 'Reno 911'; and Evan Lysasek has the advantage of being a figure skater, so his athleticism and ability to twirl extremely fast without getting dizzy could really help him in the competition.

But looking at the 2001 'Dancing with the Stars' lineup, one name really stands out, that of Erin Andrews. Erin Andrews went through a terrible ordeal when voyeuristic nude photos of her hit the web not too long ago, and it's nice to see her braving stepping into the spotlight in such a big way. I believe that Erin Andrews will be the Melissa Rycroft of this season, getting a lot of sympathetic votes for what she's recently been through.

So out of the 2010 'Dancing with the Stars' lineup, my early favorites are Erin Andrews, Evan Lysacek, and Nicole Scherzinger, but I'd love to see someone that doesn't look like they'd be as light on their feet surprise us this year.
