Dancing with the Stars 2010 Lineup Begins Dirty Dancing Lead by Baby

Dancing with the Stars 2010 lineup begins with a "Dirty Dancing" lead by "Baby" who was played by Jennifer Grey so many years ago. The Dancing with the Stars lineup could have fierce competition, as there were so many contestants who have been very competitive thus far.

Jennifer Grey leads the pack with 24 out of 30 total points. She looked absolutely stunning in her gown, and she was a very classy dancer. You have to admit that it is an expectation that she will fare well. After all, she danced alongside Patrick Swayze, and he could dance. Rest his soul, if he were still here today and joined the cast, I think he'd blow everyone out of the water.

A top performer that surprised me was Kyle Massey. Man, he had a lot of spunk and he made me smile. He was very energetic, and the judges took note. I think he will surprise a lot of people and go on to the top of the competition. He's a top Disney Channel Star, and is a lot less controversial than Hannah Montana...so parents and children love him too.

Rick Fox and Kurt Warner held in there okay. Chad Ochocinco made it to the top last year, but I don't know if I see any athlete's in this year's top slots. However, I think both will slip through for a couple more weeks.

Bristol Palin gently prodded at her mother during her performance which was to the song "Momma Told me not to Come." She came out dressed in a conservative power suit with her hair tied back in a bun. She looked very Sarah Palin. You can see a video of her performance here.

Then she let her hair out and ripped the power suit off to reveal her dressing dance. It was a bit over the top, but it created a buzz and with a big popularity contest like Dancing with the Stars, that's priceless.

Still yet the star of the week was most definitely Jennifer Grey. She has what it takes to win this thing, and she would be a well respected winner. However, the fates are somewhat sealed by the voting viewers at home. As long as she can win the hearts of viewers, she can win the competition.

Now, Bristol Palin should be in the game for a while. Like Kate Gosselin of season 9, Palin is this season's buzz creator. I'm rooting for her to a point. I'd pick Jennifer Grey and Kyle Massey at this point right now.
