'Dancing with the Stars 2010': Nicole Scherzinger Wins; Evan Lysacek and Erin Andrews Lose It
Nicole Scherzinger Tangos Her Way to the Top
"There can only be one winner-that should be you," said judge Len Goodman, who had nothing but accolades for Scherzinger and Hough. Goodman, along with judges Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli all said the 10th season of DWTS has boasted some of the best dancers ever, making it hard to choose at times.
Nicole Scherzinger Wins
There was definitely a party atmosphere in the air, but the show wasn't quite the same without Goodman's typical dry comments. It was like the last day of school when you realize the teacher who gave you such a hard time all year doesn't really hate you.
Erin Andrews
It wasn't surprising that Scherzinger won, but it could have gone either way with ESPN reporter Erin Andrews and figure skater Evan Lysacek. Indeed, at the beginning of the show, Andrews, no longer a Nervous Nelly, was still a contender for the top spot, having outscored Lysacek the night before.
But her Argentine tango performance wasn't enough to keep her and dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy in the running. They received the lowest score from the judges, leaving Lysacek and Scherzinger, who both of whom also danced the Argentine tango, to shake it out on the dance floor.
Of course, Andrews was good enough to make it to the finals and definitely was rockin.' Before dancing a farewell Cha cha cha, Andrews said the experience had been good for her and had helped her "get my life back again," making reference to the "peeping tom" episode, in which she was secretly videotaped in her hotel room while undressed.
Evan Lysacek
Lysacek had his usual classic, sleek look about him and turned the Argentine tango into an art performance, inspiring Inaba to say that the dance was his "true redemption" and Tonioli told him he looked like a "real lady killer."
Nonetheless, Lysacek and partner Anna Trebunkskaya didn't seem surprised when Scherzinger and Hough garnered first place, although I thought Scherzinger was going to pass out in anticipation of the announcement.
Now I'm bummed, though. 'Dancing With The Stars 2010' is gone-as good as "Lost."

Post a CommentDWTS - I hear Simon Cowell is free after the American Idol finals. He's fair - hire him to judge DWTS next season. You might not like what he has to say, but he is fair to all. Can't say the same about the DWTS judges this season. None of the dancers this year ever stood a chance in this "contest" after week 1! Last night's statements from the judges to crown Nicole the champion even BEFORE Evan danced was very, very tacky!! The judges scores revealed they were afraid of America's votes and deliberately gave Evan and Erin very low votes. Shame on the DWTS judges and bosses - what a farce of a "competition"!!! Next season, how about only letting "the champion" dance throughout the entire season - why bother watching any other star dance when it really doesn't matter to the judges? What a shame!! I'm done!
Evan was the true winner - this so called "contest" has been tainted from the start. The judges should've been impartial through the entire competition, but were never and had their minds made up the 1st week of "so called" competition. I'm done with this show!

When I found out that Nicole has been paid to be a Professional dancer I was mortified. What a sham.
The judges had their minds made up halfway through the season. When Carrie Ann told Nicole she was the best dancer they had ever had on the show, I knew Evan had had it. And they gave him SEVENS one week! Won't ever trust my heart to those judges again--never watched DWTS before and will not again.
nicole is a professional dancer by trade and it should have gone to evan who did not dance from the start and wound up 1 in my book
evan shoud have won in book he is the best
