There will be fewer couples vying for the coveted mirror ball trophy on Dancing with the Stars this season. The show has limited the field to 11 couples down from last season's 16 couples.
The stars and professional dancers that will be competing on Dancing with the Stars this season are as follows:
Kate Gosselin - Kate is a recently divorced mom of twins and sextuplets whose life was featured in the former TLC reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8. Her professional dancing partner will be Tony Dovolani.
Pamela Anderson - Pamela is an animal rights activist, former Playboy playmate, and actress most widely known for her role on the television show Baywatch. She will be dancing with professional Damien Whitewood who will be making his debut on the show this season.
Chad Ochocinco - Chad is currently a wide receiver for the NFL's Cincinnati Bengals. His professional partner will be two-time Dancing with the Stars champ, Cheryl Burke.
Shannen Doherty - Shannen is an actress most widely known for her role in the 1990's hit show Beverly Hills, 90210. She is the third alum from that show to be competing on Dancing with the Stars. Shannen's professional partner will be two-time Dancing with the Stars champ, Mark Ballas.
Evan Lysacek - Evan is a figure skater who just won a gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics. He will be dancing with professional Anna Trebunskaya.
Buzz Aldrin - Buzz is a former astronaut who was the second man to walk on the moon in 1969. His professional dancing partner will be Ashley Costa.
Aiden Turner - Aiden is an actor known for his role in the ABC daytime soap opera All My Children. He will be dancing with professional Edyta Sliwinska.
Erin Andrews - Erin is a sportscaster for ESPN. She will be dancing with professional Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
Niecy Nash - Niecy is a comedian and actress most widely known for her role in the Comedy Central show Reno 911 and also as host of the Style Network show Clean House. Niecy's dancing partner will be professional Louis Van Amstel.
Nicole Scherzinger - Nicole is the lead singer of pop group The Pussycat Dolls. She will be dancing with one-time Dancing with the Stars champ, Derek Hough.
Jake Pavelka - Jake is the current bachelor on ABC's reality dating show The Bachelor. His professional dancing partner will be Chelsie Hightower.
