DWTS 2010 is Gearing Up to Be Dramatic

Dancing with the Stars 2010 season 11 (DWTS) season premiere is less than a week away, and everyone is making DWTS predictions. Season 11 is bound to be exciting and full of drama, as "stars" such as "The Situation", Bristol Palin, Michael Bolton, Kyle Massey, Jennifer Grey, and Margaret Cho gear up to dance the night away.

An exhaustive list of cast/dance partners is available here.

This is the second season of the year, with Nicole Scherzinger, a Pussycat Doll, taking away the victory in the Spring season. Derek Hough is the defending champion, and he's paired up with Jennifer Grey - who I think has a decent shot of winning this season. Grey is best known for her role as "Baby" in Dirty Dancing.

The drama that everyone will focus on will likely be that of Bristol Palin. Palin already had Levi Johnston banned from the DWTS audience, and rumor has it her mother will attend the show to cheer her eldest daughter on. With the Tea Party making ground breaking wins in Delaware, Palin is pumped and ready to get through the 2010 mid-term elections. The question is, will she use her daughter's place on Dancing with the Stars to further her agenda?

Kyle Massey, Margaret Cho, and Florence Henderson are among the underdogs in the competition. Kyle Massey isn't known to the older population, but he's the star of Disney Channel's most popular series, Corey in the House. Margaret Cho is a comedienne, and used to have a TV sitcom called "American Girl." Florence Henderson is the matriarch of "The Brady Bunch" - the original TV show (not the movie remakes.)

There's a list of stars that I would have liked to have seen on Season 11, including John Travolta, Betty White, Khloe Kardashian & Lamar Odom, and maybe a Tiger Woods alleged mistress or two. However, that did not transpire, but I will keep an eye on future seasons.

Currently, the contestants are rehearsing, although they will dance live for us on the show. Will Bristol Palin, who's been reported to be seeking advice from Kate Gosselin, master the famed "pushing a grocery cart" move?

Will "The Situation" be successful in his attempts to put the move on Bristol Palin, or will Cheryl Burke stand in the way? There's so much drama that could unfold this year, I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am about this year's show.
