The Week Three Dancing with the Stars Results Show Sent Home the Right Contestant in Results

Dancing With the Stars 2010 votes for week three came out last night. Dancing With the Stars voters got it right on the second 2010 results show, as it was the couple of Buzz Aldrin and Ashly Costa that faced elimination this week. Last week on the Dancing With the Stars Results Show, none of the four lowest scoring couples faced elimination, and it showed that voting results from the home audiences were not meshing with the voting results from the judges. Week three of season 10 turned out to be a bit different, as the lowest scoring couple from the week (according to the judges) couldn't be saved by the fan vote.

Last week on the Dancing With the Stars Results Show, the bottom two celebrities were Shannen Doherty and Pamela Anderson. Both had performed pretty well in the first two weeks of dances, but at the same time, neither actress was netting the highest scores on the show either. Still, having them in the bottom two, even though they were way ahead of several other couples may not have been very fair to them. It ended up sending Doherty and her partner home, and made it appear that Anderson would be at risk this week. She wasn't, as the combination of the judge's scores and the fan voting was enough to keep her out of the bottom two during the week three DWTS results.

The week three Dancing With the Stars 2010 vote was the right one, as Buzz Aldrin and Ashly Costa were only able to score 13 out of 30 according to the three judges. They had the worst performance, and even though Buzz and Ashly are really great people, it was their time to face elimination from Dancing With the Stars. Many internet posters felt that it should have been Kate Gosselin and Tony Dovolani that went home, as they only scored a 15 out of 30 from the judges. Her fan vote was again good enough to keep them out of the bottom two, and it seems she is still getting a lot of silent support. The elimination of Buzz and Ashly sets up an even more interesting possibility for the week four Dancing With the Stars Results Show.
