Dancing with the Stars Announces New Cast for This Season

Pixie P
The new cast of Dancing with the Stars was revealed on the season finale of yet another reality dancing show, Dance Wars: Carrie Ann vs Bruno, on Monday night. The new cast may have you scratching your head trying to figure out where (or if) you have seen this person before. Probably the most notably famous of the entire cast is Priscilla Presley, and possibly Steve Guttenburg, if you were a child of the 80's.

The cast also includes Kristi Yamaguchi, U.S figure skating champion who won gold in the 1992 Olympics, Adam Carolla (?????), Marlee Matlin, a deaf actor best known for various made for TV movies, Shannon Elizabeth, only known for the American Pie movies (1 & 2 I think), Tennis champion Monica Seles, Magician Penn Jillette (one half of Penn & Teller), R & B singer Mario (hopefully he does better than Master P for a season way back), Jason Taylor, defensive end for the Miami Dolphins. The last two members of the cast are two individuals that I have never even heard of, but I am sure are famous somewhere. They are Cristian De La Fuente and Marissa Janet Winokur. The new season begins on March 17th.

The celebrity-dance pair ups are as follows:

Cristian De La Fuente & Cheryl Burke (there is your winner right there)

Shannon Elizabeth & Derek Hough

Steve Guttenburg & Anna Trebunskaya

Penn Jillette & Kym Johnson (who had the unfortunate honor of being paired with Jerry Springer in a previous season)

Mario (no last name required) & Karina Smirnoff

Marlee Matlin & Fabian Sanchez (a new comer, hurray)

Priscilla Presley and Louis Van Amstel (who oddly enough looks like Harry Hamlin, who oddly enough is the wife of former dance partner Lisa Rinna)

Monica Seles & Jonathan Roberts (who is married to fellow dance Anna Trebunskaya)

Jason Taylor & Edyta Sliwinska

Marissa Jaret Winokur & Tony Dovaloni

Kristy Yamaguchi & Mark Ballas (who started a love affair with former contestant Sabrina Bryan last season)

This is a liitle late since the season is over, but I just had to respond to Pixie P. Marlee Matlin is NOT best known for made-for-TV movies. She is an Oscar winner for Best Actress.
