Dancing With The Stars announced tonight that Holly Madison and Melissa Rycroft would be replacing the injured Jewel and Nancy O'Dell on this season's show. Rumors have been circulating all weekend about Holly and Melissa. Holly is a former Playboy Playmate and recent star of "The Girls Next Door". Melissa is the recent Bachelor cast off that millions of viewers watched as she accepted a marriage proposal from Jason Mesnick last Monday night and watched again on Tuesday night's After The Final Rose show as he broke up with her to be with runner up, Molly Malaney. I guess, according to ABC, that makes Melissa a "star" and in the same company as Shawn Johnson, Lawrence Taylor and Belinda Carlisle.

Melissa agreed to be in the show on Saturday, and with only two days of rehearsal with Tony Dovolani, scored a combined 23 for their waltz from the judges, the second highest score of the night. Melissa also received applause and cheers from the audience as clips of her breakup with Jason were shown on the screen. Holly Madison had one week to practice with Dmitry Chaplin, who is making his Dancing With Stars debut this season, danced the cha cha cha and received a combined score of 18 from the judges.

Giles Marini and two-time champion Cheryl Burke received the highest score of the night, a 24, and the most accolades from the judges for their cha cha cha. In a tie for second with Melissa and Tony, is17 year old, Shawn Johnson, and Mark Ballas who danced the waltz and received a combined score of 23.

The second lowest score after one night belongs to rodeo champion, Ty Murray, and newcomer Chelsie Hightower who danced the cha cha cha and received a combined score of 14 from the judges for their awkward performance. And, at the bottom of the leader board, is former Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak who danced the cha cha cha with Karina Smirnoff and scored a 13 although the judges enjoyed his performance despite the low score.

This season is the first time a real life couple is competing together on the show. Two-time champion Julianne Hough, and her boyfriend, country star Chuck Hicks, danced the waltz with a combined score of 20 that puts them in the middle of the pack. This week's judge's scores and viewer votes will be combined with next week's scores and votes. The two lowest couples will compete in a dance off to impress the judges one last time before the final elimination.
