The injury curse continues this season as Melissa Rycroft is sidelined with a rib injury. Since Melissa was unable to perform tonight, the judges used a video taped rehearsal to score Melissa and Tony's Jive. They received a 21, which was their lowest score ever. All three judges apologized for having to judge the rehearsal performance since they were practicing their mark ups and not performing in front of a live audience. Lil Kim and Derek Hough received a 28, the top score of the night. Len enjoyed the fire and passion in the performance and Carrie Ann thought it was a dramatic, passionate and elegant performance. Bruno said, "She's back and she means business. It was a classy Paso Doble." Giles Marini and Cheryl are tied for second after receiving a 27 for their lively Lindy Hop. Len said, "The French are famous for their fries, toast and kiss. And, now the Lindy Hop." Bruno thought it was a great performance and showed Giles sense of comedy. Carrie Ann agreed with Bruno and said it was a fantastic performance. Also, in second place with a 27 are Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas who performed the Samba. Len thought it lacked hip action and said it wasn't Shawn's best performance. Bruno thought it was effortless, carefree and good. Carrie Ann said, "Great technique. It was solid and wonderful."

Country couple, Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough, are in fourth place after receiving a 26 for their Cha Cha. Carrie and Bruno thought it was great performance. Len said, "This is turning into a fantastic competition. Great hip action." In next to last place are Ty Murray and Chelsea Hightower who received a 24 for their Salsa. Carrie Ann loved it and thought it had pizzazz. Bruno enjoyed watching it. And, Len said, "You've been on the wildest of rides. There have been highs and lows. And, unless you do really well on your group Tango, I think it's time to hit the trail."

The contestants also performed a group dance that was scored by the judges. The Mambo group included Chuck and Julianne, Shawn and Mark, and Tony and Lacey Schwimmer filling in for Melissa. The judges enjoyed their performance, but thought the music overpowered the dancing and gave the group a combined score of 25. The Tango group included Giles and Cheryl, Lil Kim and Derek, and Ty and Chelsea. The judges loved the performance and gave them a combined score of 28. The group score is added to the individual score. So, at the end of the night, here is how they stand: Lil Kim and Derek - 56, Giles and Cheryl - 55, Ty and Chelsea - 52, Shawn and Mark - 52, Chuck and Julianne - 51 and Melissa and Tony - 46. Tune in Tuesday night at 9:00 PM on ABC for the live results show will one star will dance for the last time.
