Dancing with the Stars, Brandy Leads While Kurt Warner, Bristol Palin Days Appear Numbered

Dancing With The Stars may have a new favorite in singer-actress Brandy. On last night's Week 6 performance show, Brandy who is partnered with Maksim Chmerkovskiy performed a tango that earned them 26/30 points.

While Jennifer Grey and Audrina Patridge are very strong dancers/performers, Brandy has spawned a stealthy attack toward overtaking those favorites and has now stolen the spotlight. Maks and Brandy, who seems to share a rather contentious relationship at times, performed on Rock & Roll night to Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out for a Hero". Len Goodman called it the "dance of the night."

Despite the fact that Jennifer Grey with partner Derek Hough scored a 20/30 for their paso doble to Pink's "So What", the uncharacteristically low score for the duo does not spell doom. Grey is the kind of dancer who will do what it takes to claw her way back up to the top, but it will be tough as Brandy shows the same competitive do-or-die streak as well.

Audrina Patridge is full of talent and Tony Dovolani earned a 24/30 for the paso doble last night, which was the second highest score of the evening. However, Patridge lacks the gumption and aggressiveness of a champion and unless she can unlock that potential "to blow them away every week" as Len Goodman stated last night, she may find herself following Brandy and Grey in the finals.

Of course there's the middle of the pack, Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer along with Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke, whose fate is still unpredictable at this point.

And while Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas scored their highest of the season last night (23/30), Palin has found herself in the bottom two and three couples for the past few weeks. Will her recuperative dance from last week's monkey business keep her in the game?

Kurt Warner may as well take warning. With Anna Trebunskaya the couple performed a paso doble earning them an embarrassing 18/30 compared to the past performances. Additionally, the couple was booted first from the Marathon Dance at the end of the show which gave them only 4 additional points.

I feel that Monday October 25th was the worst show ever. The music was bad and so where the costumes. The music was a detriment to the stars.

Didn't she say she couldn't dance? Brandy I mean!
