Dancing with the Stars, Fall 2007: The Final 8 Stars

This has been an amazing season of Dancing With the Stars. All of the stars have been bringing their "A" game as far as practicing and performing. The professional dancers have been excellent teachers and choreographers, and all the dances have the judges eating out of the palm of their hands. Here is a brief biography of the remaining 8 stars.

Cameron Mathison was born on August 25, 1969. He spends his days heating up the television sets on ABC's "All My Children". As Ryan Lavery he is the sexy husband, dad and business mogul that women dream of. He joined "All My Children" in 1999, left for a year in 2002 but returned in 2003 for another tour as heart throb Ryan. He has been doing double duty for the past couple of years as the host of SoapNet's original series, "I Wanna Be A Soap Star." Cameron was born and raised in Canada. Believe it or not this sexy actor holds a degree in Bachelor of Civil Engineering. Sorry, ladies but he is very taken. He has been married since 2002 and has a son and a daughter with his wife, Vanessa. Will he really be Superman and be pronounced the winner of season 5?

Jennie Garth was born April 3, 1972 in Urbana, Illinois. She is the only child of her parents but has 6 older brother and sisters. Each parent brought 3 children into the marriage and then together had Jennie. She is a natural blond, 5 foot 5 inches and a vegetarian. As a frequent sufferer of migraines, she has done infomercials on ways to relieve them. From 1990 to 2000, she played, sexy spoiled rich girl, Kelly Taylor on the night time soap, "Beverly Hills, 90210." She also starred in several television movies during that time, including playing the lead role in "Danielle Steel's Star". After "90210" she went on to star as the uptight sister of Amanda Byrnes in the WB's "What I Like About You" from 2002 to 2006. She has been married twice. Most recently and presently to Peter Facinelli, with whom she has 3 daughters with. Will this "Yummy Mummy" as Bruno called her be able to continue the momentum she has had since coming back from a fall and win season 5?

Sabrina Bryan is best known for being a "Cheetah Girl." She was born September 16, 1984 in California and began her career at a very young age. In 2002 she appeared in the soap opera "Bold and the Beautiful" for a short term guest role. "Cheetah Girls" was a Disney channel original movie and has spawned one sequel already with a second one in the works. "The Cheetah Girls" are known for their rocking music and hip hop dance moves, the latter of which have no doubt helped Sabrina earn the scores she has earned on "Dancing With the Stars." In 2006, Sabrina released a workout DVD called "BYOU" aimed towards young girls. She is a positive role model for young women as she is not the stick figure that we are bombarded with in the press. Can this Cheetah Girl prove her mettle and be he female to win?

Helio Castroneves is Brazilian race car driver who is currently setting hearts a racing while he is competing on "Dancing With The Stars." He was born on May 10, 1975 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He drives car number 3 and is currently only the 5th driver in Indianapolis 500 history to win back to back titles in consecutive years 2001 and 2002. His nickname by racing fans is "Spiderman" because of a signature move he created to get him closer to the finish line. Let's see if "Spiderman" has the moves to make it the finals and give his partner back to back titles.

Melanie Brown, AKA, Mel B, AKA Scary Spice is best known as one of the popular Spice Girls. She was born May 29, 1975 in Leedo, West Yorkshire. She is a trash talking ballroom baby dancer. She has been major fodder for the tabloid papers as they have traced all of her love affairs through today. She has most famously been linked with Eddie Murphy and has had a baby girl with him. She has been trying to lead a more quiet existence lately as she has married movie producer, Stephen Belafonte on June 16, 2007. She is preparing to go back on tour with the popular British all girl group, "Spice Girls" in 2008. Will Scary Spice be the first women to win season one or will her bad girl ways get in the way of victory?

Mark Cuban is worth upwards of 2.7 billion dollars. He is the owner of the Dallas Mavericks, which he brought in January 2000 from H. Ross Perot. He is also the chairman of HDNet, a subsidiary of HDTV. His birthday is July 31, 1958 and he was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He has been married since 2002 and is the proud father of two beautiful daughters. He recently started the Fallen Patriot Fund, which helps families of US soldiers who have been injured or killed during the Iraq War. He had a hip replacement in June of 2007. Will this dancing maverick be able to keep his temper in check and continue on to week 6?

The beautiful Jane Seymour was born Joyce Penelope Wilhelmina Frankenburg on February 15, 1951 in England. She is best known as the "Live and Let Live" Bond girl and the title character in the television series, "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman." She has been married 4 times and currently is married to actor/director James Keach. She has four children, Katherine born in 1981, Sean born in 1985, and twins with Keach, Johnny and Kris born in 1995. The twins are named after pals, Christopher Reave and Johnny Cash. Seymour took her stage name when she was 17 years old. She has more than earned her nickname, "Queen of the Television Mini-Series" with roles in "War and Remembrance"as well as others. She most recently had an unforgettable role in the Vince Vaughn/Owen Wilson movie "Wedding Crashers." She is one of he few actresses to appear in a non-nude photo shoot for Playboy. She lost her mom on October 2 of this year and returned to "Dances With the Stars" in a unforgettable, heartbreaking Tango that made one judge cry. Will this English Rose be able to conquer the dance floor and be the first woman, not to mention the oldest woman, to win since season one?

Marie Osmond is one of 9 children and the only girl. She comes from a well-known show biz family. But will that be enough to allow this American Sweetheart to win season 5 of "Dancing With The Stars"? She was born October 13, 1959 in Odgen, Utah as the 2nd to youngest child of the Osmond's. She began her career at the tender age of 3 when she appeared with her brother, The Osmond's, on an appearance on "The Andy Williams Show." Her biggest song hit was "Paper Roses" in 1973. The song was known as a country, pop ballad. She went on to have a successful variety show with her brother, Donny, aptly called the "Donny and Marie Show." She is best known these days as a doll maker and collector. Her collection is sold on QVC and in Hallmark stores and is known as the Marie Osmond Porcelain Collection Dolls. She was a judge on the short lived series "Celebrity Duets." She has been married twice and has 8 children of her own, some of which are adopted. She is passionate about Internet safety for children after finding explicit content written in 2 of her teenage daughter's My Space blogs. She is trying to better the Internet so that all children can log on and be safe. In 1999, she announced to the world that she was suffering from Postpartum Depression in the hopes of encouraging other moms suffering the same illness to get hope. Unfortunately, earlier in the year she and her husband of 20 years, Brian Blosil announced their divorce. She is working on a Christmas Album that will be out in time for Christmas 2007. Will America's Sweetheart be able to dance her way into the title of "Dancing With The Stars" season 5 champion?
