'Dancing with the Stars' Finale 2010 Preview

The Dancing With the Stars finale 2010 is now at hand. At long last, the 2010 Dancing With the Stars finale looks to have Nicole and Evan square off - or does it? In the first part of the final week, Nicole Scherzinger and Evan Lysacek weren't as perfect as they'd been in the first nine weeks. Thanks to their dominance, Erin Andrews had gone almost unnoticed, and looked to be the first one out of the final three. But after Monday night, the Dancing With the Stars finale has just a little bit of doubt, for the first time all season.

The three finalists had two dances to perform, a week after Scherzinger and Lysacek almost got a perfect 60. For the last night before the Dancing With the Stars finale 2010, they were expected to be perfect again, or close enough. But by their high standards, they slipped up at the worst time.

Scherzinger got a mere 55 points combined from the judges, which is a bit below what she usually gets. However, Lysacek made out worse, as he stumbled for just the second time in this competition. In fact, he got the lowest judges' scores before the Dancing With the Stars finale 2010, with a 52.

Lysacek struggled on his freestyle routine, falling behind both Scherzinger and Erin Andrews. The ESPN sideline reporter tied Scherzinger with a 55, finally catching up to the frontrunner. Andrews had climbed up the ranks the last 10 weeks, but she never seriously threatened Scherzinger and Lysacek until now.

Heading into the Dancing With the Stars finale 2010, Scherzinger seems safe for the final two, despite some lower scores. But now the long awaited Scherzinger-Lysacek dance off might not happen after all. Although Lysacek has been nearly perfect this season, his Monday night struggles and Andrews' recent surge could make the next-to-last vote tight.

This season has been decidedly short on suspense, except for waiting on Kate Gosselin to get voted out. But Gosselin and the others will be back tonight, as the Dancing With the Stars finale 2010 now has question marks. Scherzinger is now farther ahead of Lysacek, at least, yet if she has to face Andrews in the end instead, things might get curious.

Dancing With the Stars starts its big 2010 finale at 8 pm est on ABC, with a repeat of last night. The live ending starts at 9, with the mirror ball presented at 11, and the winners heading off to Jimmy Kimmel an hour later.

I hope Brooke Burke doesn't come back again next year! She looke like a painted doll. There are alot of others who can do alot better job. Sometimes she seems preoccupied and not really interested. Phoney!
