'Dancing with the Stars': Florence Henderson Steals the Show with 'Edelweiss'

Jacqueline Winslow
"Story Night" was a beautiful evening of the celebrities telling us a story that was moving. Week 3 of Dancing with the Stars was by far the best show yet!

Jennifer Gray and Derek Hough started the show with a student-loves-teacher performance that was complex. Gray once again showed DWTS voters that she can dance as well as sway the fans. Total Score: 24

Florence Henderson danced to "Edelweiss," which was as beautiful as it was enchanting. She has shown America she can dance and really tell a story with each dance she does. All of us remember the "Sound of Music" as Christopher Plummer sang "Edelweiss." His voice was soothing as it was masculine; all the reasons we cried every time he sang this lovely song. Unfortunately, the man singing "Edelweiss" didn't have the same aura as Plummer, and his voice was lacking at best. The only saving grace was Florence Henderson's dancing. The performance was simple but angelic. Total Score: 20

Kurt Warner, was, can we say, stiff? It was a choppy performance but he probably will make it another week. Total Score: 23

Margaret Cho needs to keep politics off the dance floor. She gave a tribute to gay pride which had no place on the family-friendly DWTS. Not only was her dancing bad, but she needs to go home. There was no story to go along with the song, leaving viewers saying, "Really?" Total Score: 18

Audrina Patridge came out and did a tribute to families of troops killed. The story was moving, although there wasn't quite enough emotion to really steal the show. The judges were enthralled, but I couldn't find myself as thrilled as them. Total Score: 26

Bristol Palin told a story about a homeless man catching the attention of a rich lady. She was beautiful as always, but still a bit nervous. Who wouldn't be on DWTS? Hopefully she will let go of her nervousness and show America what she is within: a beautiful young lady! Total Score: 19

Brandy came out to prove to America she isn't high-maintenance! They danced effortlessly and really timed their dance to steal the show! She may be a diva or not, but she certainly can dance. Total Score: 24

Kyle Massey tried to create a story about a couple falling in love at a coffee shop. The story fell flat and his footwork was nonexistent, although he never stopped smiling. Total Score: 23

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino has never been my favorite. Yet, every time he comes out and gives everything he has. It was an odd and weird performance, but he really can entertain. At the end of the day, it was a stiff performance. Total Score: 20

Rick Fox,well, he's handsome, and can finish off the show every week, 'cause this guy can dance! His story was about losing a basketball game. I didn't get his story, but he certainly could dance, story or not. Total Score: 24

I want Florence to win it. She brings grace, elegance, and true performance, to the show.

That is so sad to here that Christopher Plummer didn't really sing it. I will always think of Christopher Plummer as singing in Song of Music....even if he didn't really do it. We don't need to be technical for all the Sound Of Music fans. I'm with J.W. L.... whether he officialy sang it or not, it was Christopher Plummer... most Sound of Music fans would say the same!

FYI: Christopher Plummer did not sing in "The Sound of Music." He was dubbed by Bill Lee. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Lee_(singer)
