'Dancing with the Stars' Judge Carrie Ann Inaba Now Engaged

According to TV Guide, Carrie Ann will marry accountant Jesse Sloan this summer. They are planning a wedding by the beach and hope that everyone will be able to jump in the water after their vows.

Inaba, 43, previously dated pro dancer Artem Chigvintsev, 28. Her fiance Jesse is closer to her age at 39.

Inaba embraces her status as a cougar. As she told Prevention Magazine, "I'm a cougar, self-proclaimed [laughs]. I've always gone out with much younger guys. But I rushed into relationships before really getting to know the person. What would come up as a warning sign within the first two weeks of dating would usually be the exact reason the relationship would end!"

Yet Carrie Ann's taste in younger men does not mean that she would take artificial steps to make herself look younger. She has proudly stated that she would never get plastic surgery.

"I have this firm belief that I am who I am for a reason. If I change something, I'm cheating myself of whatever it is I'm supposed to learn from my body." And despite being legally blind, she will only wear glasses or contacts, as she has refused to get LASIK.

She also doesn't give in to pressures to have a Hollywood-thin body. Rather than being a strict dieter, she just tries to enjoy fruits and vegetables whenever she can. "I don't think that anything in life should be so regimented that you're not having fun or can't enjoy like everybody else. Just know that fresh food is always going to be better for you." Inaba is in good company as a cougar. In addition to Demi Moore and Sandra Bullock, an increasing number of high-profile women are dating much younger men.

According to Starpulse, Susan Sarandon believes that she invented the term "cougar" because she had described herself as a prowling big cat in her 30s. She had begun her romance with ex, Tim Robbins, when she was nearly 40 and he was still in his 20s.

And she continues her cougar lifestyle. In April 2010, Entertainment Weekly reported rumors of her and 31-year-old Jonathan Bricklin. Although she would not confirm or deny the relationship with Bricklin, Sarandon told EW that she loved being called a cougar.

Of course, this is not to say that cougars won't receive their share of criticism. In December 2010, Madonna's father expressed concerns about Madonna's penchant for dating much-younger men. According to Monsters and Critics, he believed that Madonna was just out for a good time by dating guys in their 20s. He hoped his daughter would start acting her age and dating older men.
