Dancing with the Stars, Kate Gosselin Needs the Mom Vote. Don't Hate Kate
She is Making a Living Without the Children
But let's face it, watching Kate Gosselin on Dancing With The Stars has its "OMG, What is she thinking" guilty pleasure moments. We all need those moments, especially if you are a newly divorced woman who does not know what to do with the rest of your life. What if that was you up there on DWTS?
But there stands the problem. Kate Gosselin may not be on DWTS for long. She needs all the votes she can get to stay in the competition, and her dancing is awful. She needs the Mom vote now, and the Moms need Kate Gosselin.
Kate Gosselin is an example of what can happen to a woman, when she stops focusing on her kids and tries to have a career of her own. You are in no way a star let alone a dancer, and no body likes you anyway; yet one day DWTS invites you to dance in their competition, and will pay you a lot of money. Who would say no to that?
Moms across America should vote for Kate Gosselin on DWTS, as often as they can. Like many moms, Kate Gosselin is doing her doggoned best to transform herself into something; something other than an almost 40, divorced mother of eight.
The woman will not give up. Kate will try anything if given the opportunity. She is ferocious in reaching her goal. She wants to be a media star, even a DWTS's winner if she has to, no matter what her detractors might say.
She is fighting the fight for all cheated on, divorced moms. She represents minimally talented women everywhere, trying to earn a decent living. She is trying to not be embarrassed by the antics of her immature, foolish ex husband, and has had to shield her kids from their sperm donor dad's sleezy girl friends.
Kate Irene Kreider was born in 1975 and married Jon Gosselin in 1999. She worked as a labor and delivery nurse at Reading Medical Center in Philadelphia until after using fertility treatments she gave birth to twin girls in October 2000. She used fertility treatments again, and gave birth on May 10, 2004 to sextuplets, 3 boys and 3 girls.
Kate Gosselin became a national TV reality personality when the DiscoveryChannel and then the Learning Channel featured the family on a Reality show...Jon and Kate plus 8. The show was hugely popular, and lasted until the couple divorced in 2009.
Kate has written 3 books and is working on a 4th. She appears on talk shows and often can be seen on the covers of most newspapers and magazines at supermarket check outs. The nation also watches her hairstyles which she changes frequently.
Insiders report that Kate Gosselin will not end her time on DWTS because of lack of dancing ability or votes. She will suffer an injury and just leave.
Let's hope that doesn't happen. It looks like Kate will be the major breadwinner of the Gosselin family. Jon Gosselin's escapades and girlfriends are old news now. He might have to get a real job.
DWTS pays its contestants $125,000 for the first 2 appearances, then $20,000 each week. On reaching week 9, there is a $50,000 bonus .The winner gets $250,000. If Kate Gosselin can stay to the end, she can earn some nice money and publicity.
So to all you moms out there, vote for Kate and her new life. She needs the money. Don't let her shuffle off DWTS with no new career plans. Of course DWTS could invite ex-hubby Jon Gosselin to compete on next season's show...But no.... that would be too crazy.

Post a CommentWell, from this point of view I give her credit for guts, but I still wouldn't vote for her. Personally, I just think she has no shame.
Also, from the variety of comments you've gotten on this one, it is clear that Kate gets people to form strong opinions of her - pro or con!
I'm not even a huge fan of Kate Gosselin but you won me over with your article. I confess that I don't get all of her decisions but I do understand that she is a determined woman and does what she thinks is right.
Love your take on this. I have to admit, I had NEVER watched this show until she was on it. Now I watch it almost every week! I will say this. It's almost painful watching her try to dance. It's the worse I've ever seen!
Excellent topic.
Nicely written.
I like this. I also like Kate. I know I'm in the vast minority but I don't think her intentions are bad.
Really nice article M&M. - Kurtis
Don't Hate Kate!..She's trying and needs the votes.
Just because she is a mom she deserves votes? Please vote for a person who is a good dancer. Not someone who wants to be a star because she doesn't want to work as a nurse.
