Dancing with the Stars Odds and Picks to Win Season 10

C.A. Jacobs
The 10th season of Dancing with the Stars kicks off March 22, 2010 at 8/7 central on ABC. This season has an interesting lineup. Dancing to win your votes are: All My Children's Aiden Turner; astronaut Buzz Aldrin; NFL wide receiver Chad Ochocinco; ESPN host Erin Andrews; Olympic figure skater Evan Lysacek; Bachelor reality TV star Jake Pavelka; reality TV star Kate Gosselin; Pussy Cat Dolls' Nicole Scherzinger; comedian and television host Niecy Nash; actress and model Pamela Anderson; and actress Shannen Doherty. At first glance, when the Dancing with the Stars lineup was announced, my pick was Evan Lysacek. But there's been discussion lately that Chad Ochocinco could give Evan a run for his money. If you're looking to add some fun to your Dancing with the Stars watch nights, these odds will help you pick well when doing some friendly betting against your friends. (Odds listed are for entertainment purposes only.)

Dancing with the Stars - Aiden Turner
Odds to win: 18 to 1
Best known for his sexy role on All My Children, soap star Aiden Turner will be dancing with Edyta Sliwinska and looking to woo the female audience members. According to Aiden's recent tweets, he's struggling with injuries to his hip flexors. He'll need to be in top form if he wants to go deep in this year's DWTS competition.

Dancing with the Stars - Buzz Aldrin
Odds to win: 50 to 1
Astronaut Buzz Aldrin was one of the first humans to step foot on the surface of the moon. Buzz is partnered with Ashly Costa. Born in 1930, Buzz is the oldest contestant in this year's DWTS competition. Buzz is a long shot at 50 to 1 odds, can he compete with his younger counterparts?

Dancing with the Stars - Chad Ochocinco
Odds to win: 4 to 1
Chad Ochocinco has strong odds to win this year's competition. He's dancing with DWTS veteran and frequent partner for past winners, Cheryl Burke. Chad is an NFL wide receiver but former football stars have had their ups and downs during previous seasons of DWTS. Chad may surprise us all and take the crown away from odds on favorite Evan Lysacek.

Dancing with the Stars - Erin Andrews
Odds to win: 7 to 2
As a well known sports reporter on ESPN, Erin Andrews (along with Chad Ochocinco and Evan Lyscek) might just draw in the sports viewers to this season of DWTS. Erin has experience in her back pocket and will rely on it to win the mirror disco ball. She was a former dance team member for the University of Florida Gators. Erin's dance partner is Maksim Chmerkovskly.

Dancing with the Stars - Evan Lysacek
Odds to win: 2 to 1
Evan Lysacek is the odds on favorite to take the top prize this year. As an Olympic figure skater, Evan should have the right moves. Past Olympians have done extremely well in previous seasons of DWTS: Shawn Johnson, Kristi Yamaguchi and Apolo Ohno have all been winners of Dancing with the Stars. Evan is my pick to win this year. Evan will be dancing with Anna Trebunskaya.

Dancing with the Stars - Jake Pavelka
Odds to win: 18 to 1
Jake Pavelka is looking to extend his 15 minutes of fame from the Bachelor and Bachelorette series and will be performing with Chelsie Hightower. Another previous Bachelor contestant, Melissa Rycroft, performed in last season's DWTS and did quite well. Don't look for Jake to make it past the first couple of rounds.

Dancing with the Stars - Kate Gosselin
Odds to win: 16 to 1
Audiences will best remember Kate Gosselin from her television reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8. Kate should have the endurance and stamina it takes to do well in the DWTS competition, she does keep up with eight children after all. Kate's dance partner is Tony Dovolani.

Dancing with the Stars - Nicole Scherzinger
Odds to win: 3 to 1
Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger should have no problem with the sexy dance moves needed to go far in this season of DWTS. Pop performers have fared particularly well in the past - Drew Lachey, Lance Bass, Kelly Osborne and last season's winner, Donny Osmond. Nicole is partnered with Derek Hough.

Dancing with the Stars - Niecy Nash
Odds to win: 25 to 1
Niecy Nash is partnered with veteran DWTS dancer Louis Van Amstel. Besides being a comedian, television host and actress in a number of television series, Niecy is also the mother of three children. At 25 to 1 odds, Niecy is some what of a long shot to win.

Dancing with the Stars - Pamela Anderson
Odds to win: 13 to 1
Pamela Anderson's first role on television was as the Tool Time Girl on Home Improvement. Pamela went on to star in another well known role on the popular Baywatch series. Pamela's DWTS dance partner will be Damian Whitewood who is joining the show for his first season.

Dancing with the Stars - Shannen Doherty
Odds to win: 18 to 1
Shannen Douherty is best known for playing bad girl Brenda Walsh on Beverly Hills, 90210. Shannen is paired up with dance partner Mark Ballas. Known for being difficult on numerous television sets, watch to see if Shannen's bad side rears its ugly head during the DWTS competition.

My money is on Erin Andrews. If there is a first out bet I would make Kate Gosselin even money as first out!
