Dancing with the Stars: Only 3 Couples Will Remain After Tonight!
Can Brooke Squeeze Her Way to Being the Only Female in the Finals?
Will it be....
Brooke Burke... Long named as the "shoe-in", Brooke has been topping the score boards with her energetic and young partner Derek Hough for weeks. It seemed this model, actress and mom couldn't possibly do anything wrong, even her partner begin to say she was just like a professional. However that all changed last night when Brooke butchered her opening performance! She missed steps, lost her place multiple times, and even was cited as doing an illegal lift! Brooke got back to her normal self in her second performance of the night, however the judges total scores for both dances pushed her into second place. Will her fans save her so she can be the only girl to compete in the finals?
Warren Sap... This Superbowl Champion, dancing with the beautiful Kym Johnson, is one that no one could have ever anticipated to be in the semi-finals, but now he actually has a chance to make it to the finals! Warren has been gaining votes with his energetic and upbeat performances, and pleasing the judges by doing fairly well on the technical side as well. Last night he managed to stay out of the bottom spot, but also didn't make it to the top. His judges total scores left him tied for second place with Brooke. Whether he makes it through to the finals or not, his performance thus far has been very impressive! Does he have the fans on his side?
Cody Linley... With his partner Julianne Hough, Cody is in the youngest team of the season and perhaps the youngest ever on the show. Known for his role of "Jake Ryan" on the hit Disney show, Hannah Montana, Cody is already skilled at portraying the Heart Throb! Cody had some bumps along the way on Dancing with the Stars, most notably when his partner, Julianne, was hospitalized and needed surgery. However, Cody managed to squeeze through with his temporary partner, Edyta Sliwinska, just long enough for Julianne to get better. Last night marked Julianne Cody's first dance since the surgery, and Julianne definitely decided to think outside the box with their first performance, which hurt their scores. Cody ended up being last place according to the judges total scores, but will his Disney fan base save him?
Lance Bass... Expected to be the best, even before he performed, many have been waiting for this former NSYNC star to let go! Many were surprised week after week as Lance barely scrapped by, but he is self-proclaimed as the worst dancer from NSYNC. Some blamed partner Lacey Schwimmer, from So You Think You Can Dance, of being too far off in left field. However last night Lacey finally reigned it in and Lance finally got the rhythm we all knew he had in him! This low-scoring couple suddenly jumped to the top spot making it seem likely they will be in the finals. Will their NSYNC and So You Think You Can Dance fan base bring in enough votes?
My Prediction
Cody Linley seems like the one who SHOULD go, but I'm afraid his Hannah Montana fans will vote him to stay. He's a cute kid, and tries really hard, but at this point he doesn't have the natural talent that the other three have. All my votes (online and phone) went to Lance Bass! With Brooke's failed performance last night, it's possible her fans might not support her. The finals would be top notch if it comes down to Brooke, Warren and Lance.

Post a CommentI like these up to dates since I don't watch it.
I haven't kept up with this round of Dancing With the Stars at all, having only PBS stations in the last month at the new house. Can't wait to get caught up on things so I can get back to my regular programming!
Sounds like it is going to be an exciting finale! :)
