The look of shock on pro dancer Derek Hough's face when Brandy and Maks got voted off Dancing With The Stars tonight during the semi-finals results show (November 16) was priceless. It was also likely an expression echoed on the faces of surprised and confused (and in some cases, mad!) viewers in millions of living rooms throughout America.
Dancing With The Stars Top 3 Announced; Brandy and Maks Go Home!
The Dancing With The Stars Top 3, heading into next week's finals, are as follows:
Kyle and Lacey
Jennifer and Derek
Bristol and Mark
It was clear fairly early on that Jennifer and Derek were safe, and this makes perfect sense. They are truly amazing to watch. Next on the Season 11 Dancing With The Stars Week 9 results tonight, it was revealed Kyle and Lacey were safe. Based on their near perfect scores last night (58 out of 60), and Kyle's tremendous performances, this also has a ring of logic.

What happened next, however, seemingly had no basis in sound, rational reasoning, and yet....there it was. Brandy was sent packing while Bristol Palin stood safe and ready to enter the Dancing With The Stars Season 11 finals next week.

A disgrace. Who counts those "votes"? Talk about rigged to keep interest or get reactions! Palin is one of the worse, although has inproved since week 1. She does not have tthe talent to get past week 4. You have lost your respectability.
I'm a little disappointed with this elimination. Although I think Bristol improved the past few weeks, Brandy should be in the finals. I think the judges, at times, have given Bristol higher scores than she deserved. They have treated more delicately than the other competitors.
Eliminating Brandy over Bristol was shameful! ABC lost many viewers, including myself, after last night's decision. They need to reconsider how votes are tabulated.
Brandy and Maks didn't deserve to be eliminated. Bristol Palin has to be the worst dancer I have ever seen in Dancing with the stars. I thought this show was for Stars and she is not a Star or a good dancer. They should just change the name of the show to Stumbling with the Republicans. First was Tom DeLay, now Bristol Palin, what's next George W. Bush.
