Dancing with the Stars Season 10 Premiere

Week 1 of Season 10 on DWTS

Theresa Leschmann
I've followed the Twitter buzz all day between the stars, the professional partners, the judges and the hosts. The feeling seemed electric. Everyone was excited to be in the latest season of Dancing with the Stars. Taking on the co-hosting duties for this season with veteran host Tom Bergeron is season 7 winner Brooke Burke.

Tonight focused on introducing us to the celebrities and their partners, which is a great thing, since many of them are unknown to many viewers. Dances performed to night were the Viennese Waltz and the Cha Cha Cha.

Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy - Score 21

Niecy Nash and Louis Van Amstel - Score 18

Aiden Turner and Edyta Sliwinska - 14

Pamela Anderson and Damian Whitewood -21

Couples Dancing the Viennese Waltz

Shannon Dougherty and Mark Ballas - Score 18

Jake Pavelka and Chelsie Hightower - Score 20

Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya - Score 23

Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough - Score 25

Kate Gosselin and Tony Dovolani - Score 16

Bruno Bashes

On Shannon Dougherty: you were "swinging your arms like a primate".

On Buzz Aldrin's Cha Cha Cha: "It looked like you still had your moon boots on."

On Kate Gosselin's Viennese Waltz: It looked like "Tony was pushing a shopping cart around the floor"

Bergeron Bits

After Len was harsh to Niecy Nash: "You gotta remember, for the last three months, Len hasn't been up this late."

After Len dissed Buzz Aldrin: "How's that British space program going?"

After Bruno's remark to Kate Gosselin: like "you should exude tact."

This year's premiere differs from the previous seasons in that all the stars will get two weeks to perform before facing an elimination round. This week there will be no elimination round and no show on Tuesday night. We will all have to wait until next Tuesday, March 30th, to see who gets cut.

Probably will have to miss most of this season but will be following along on your recaps.
