Dancing with the Stars Season 10 Week 5 Elimination Show = Kate Gosselin is a Goner - Finally!

The show opened with fans learning that series favorite Nicole Scherzinger was safe and that Kate Gosselin was in the bottom two. This brought a smile to my face and put cheer in my heart. Perhaps this time's America's prayers would be answered. I thought how lovely Ms. Gosselin looked in red. When it was her name called at the end, there was a cheer heard from every member of my household.

Len gave a recap and critique of last night's performances placing Niecy Nash, Chad Ochocinco and Kate Gosselin at the back of the pack after lackluster performances. Pamela Anderson, Jake Pavelka and Erin Andrews are locked in the middle, seemingly unable to push any higher. The real battle, Len claims is between Nicole Scherzinger and Evan Lysacek.

Singer Maxwell performed his song Fist Full of Tears.

Macy's Stars of Dance had Debbie Allen, choreographer and actress, reprise her Fame role on the dance floor while an ensemble group of dancers paid tribute to the movies Young Frankenstein, Fame, Saturday Night Fever, and the Austin Powers trilogy.

Adam Corolla gave us a humorous look at the stars performances and judges scores.

Costa Rican songstress Debi Nova performed Drummer Boy.

We learned that the stars took control of the costume design for their partners for next week's performances. It's a gimmick that's getting old. Seriously, none of the professionals have ever come on stage in anything that made them look that ridiculous. Seriously, DWTS, enough with the costumes designed by the stars.

Next week the stars will participate in a swing dance marathon.
