My Blog Will Be Updated Throughout the Show - Mostly at Commercials - to Keep You in the Loop of Tonight's Episode!
Who's Left?
There was no elimination last week so all 11 stars still remain. Below are their combined scores (last week plus this week) that will be combined with audience scores to determine who goes home tonight.
- Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough - 53/60
- Evan Lysacek with Anna Trebunskaya - 47/60
- Erin Andrews with Maksim Chmerkovskiy - 44/60
- Pamela Anderson with Damian Whitewood - 43/60
- Jake Pavelka with Chelsie Hightower - 40/60
- Niecy Nash with Louis Van Amstel - 39/60
- Shannen Doherty with Marc Ballas - 38/60
- Chad Ochocinco with Cheryl Burke - 34/60
- Aiden Turner with Edyta Sliwinska - 34/60
- Kate Gosselin with Tony Dovolani - 31/60
- Buzz Aldrin with Ashly Costa - 26/60
Now on with the Show!
Tom and Brooke jumped right into the results by letting everyone know that Buzz and Ashly were safe! The first couple in the bottom two was Pamela and Damian. Pamela was surprised to be in the bottom, showing that even the high scoring dancers aren't safe, but we'll have to wait to see who the other couple is in the bottom two.
Flashbacks showed Len giving his opinion of the different dancers, mostly saying something positive about all of them as well as something each could improve on. Except Chad who Len said disappointed him, and he said he felt sorry for Kate blaming her nerves for her mistakes.
Nicole and Derek performed their Jive from last night again for the Judges Choice pick. Nicole is still making that face I commented on yesterday! Stop with the kissy face! Otherwise they were just as good as last night and demonstrated that Nicole does come in to this competition with some natural talent.
The first entertainment tonight was a Ballroom Fusion performance put together by Michael Jackson's choreographers, Travis Payne and Stacey Walker. The pros came out to perform a fast and techno-like routine to the song Evacuate the Dancefloor by Cascada. It was fun and different from most of the performances these pros have done.
Adam Corolla was the next bit of fun talking about his fav moments from last night. First he pointed out that Buzz has 6 astronaut t-shirts! I didn't notice. Adam showed us Edyta elbowing Aiden in the face in slow-mo and finally poked fun at various other dancers, Len and Bruno.
Time for more results! Aiden and Edyta were declared safe and joining them was Niecy and Louis. Tom hinted that there may be an upset tonight with one of the higher scoring couples going home! NOOOOOOO!
John Stamos (yes it's Uncle Jessie from Full House!) joined The Beach Boys for a few classic songs tonight while some of the pros did a more relaxed style of ballroom dancing to go with the relaxed music of The Beach Boys. Their remix included Kokomo, and Fun Fun Fun. They are still great after all this time! Who doesn't like The Beach Boys?
As another filler for tonight, Len announced his Len Commandments which showed clips of the dancers and judges throughout. He called Carrie Ann "the Lift Police" haha, which is so true because she always makes comments about when their feet get off the floor even a little bit! But other than that, this was just MORE filler!
Let's save some more couples! Evan and Anna were the next couple to move to safety but we still don't know about the rest of them. Four couples are safe, 1 is in danger and the rest still don't know their fate! Kate sure looks like she's ready to go though! Too bad I think she is going to stay based on Tom's tease earlier in the show.
After the break, 2 more safe couples were revealed: Jake and Chelsie along with Nicole and Derek (no duh!). We are down to Kate, Erin, Chad and Shannen... but we'll have to wait a little bit longer!
The final piece of entertainment for tonight was a tribute to Haiti. The short video of Haiti showed an interview with Emmanuel Pierre-Antoine who lost his toddler in the tragic Earthquake. Emmanuel led a group of Haitian dancers in a tribute performance for his country. The group of 10 performed a special ballroom routine to Shakira's Hips Don't Lie. For more information on how you can help the people of Haiti, visit www.abettercommunity.com.
Well with only 4 couples left, you would think they would get to the results.... but no. First we got to see a video about Brooke Burke and basically how her Dancing with the Stars day goes. I guess it was kind of interesting to see how much work goes in to the show and how busy even the hosts are!
The next couple who will be back next week was Erin and Maksim, followed by Chad and Cheryl. Ok things are starting to look better, except Kate looks worse as she can't even crack a smile at the camera while the others can! But Kate and Tony were declared safe! NOOOOOOOO!! Who is voting for this chick????? She let out an obnoxious scream after standing there with a look of defeat all night.
This left Shannen and Mark vs Pamela and Damien in the bottom two with Shannen and Mark going home tonight. I can't believe Kate was not only not eliminated, but she wasn't even in the bottom two! Shannen and Mark are the first couple eliminated from Dancing with the Stars Season 10 but let's all hope that Kate goes home next week! Mark announced that he hurt his knee anyway and Shannen would have had a new partner had she stayed. I'm not that sad to see Shannen and Mark go, but I'm definitely sad to see Kate Gosselin stay for another week!

Post a CommentNice update! I only caught Buzz dancing tonight, then had to head home and by that time it was all over.
Well I guess if each kid voted 11 times on the phone, internet and cell that could be 88*3 votes! I'm sure Shannen got more than 264 votes :)
You asked who is voting for Kate? HER KIDS....All of her KIDS
I post it as I go :) It actually is easy this way and I take a break at each commercial :-D Thanks for reading!
Wow, thanks for the quick update! I think the show just ended about ten minutes ago!
